I went to Bar Batavia for a date on Feb 1 and was very happy with the service from either a Natasha or Natalie (forgot her name!). Great cocktail bar with a cute little charm. She recommended cocktails that I would like based on my preferences and I was not disappointed. She was so friendly and made our experience great. She showed us what some meals would look like if we ordered and I was sold on the dessert. Thank you!!!
The service was great, the waitress was so friendly and nice. We had the japanese beer which was really good, the lamb skewers were okay, maybe next I’ll try chicken. The space looks cute, the music wasn’t loud so it’s a good place for a date.
Cool little place which is really an overflow for the Little Sister restaurant downstairs. The cocktails are pretty good tasting but for that price, I expected a little more flair like a nice one piece clear ice cube. No draft beer is a quite disappointing but at least their own brew in a can is not bad. Service is not bad but could be better without the continuous asking if you want to order food, fine to ask for drinks but keep asking for food in a bar?! It gets irritating fast....
