The service was friendly and attentive. One thing to note: the menu advertised buck-a-shuck oysters available with a non-alcoholic drink purchase, but when we arrived, we were told it only applies with alcoholic beverages—so that was a bit disappointing. That aside, the nachos are a definite must-try, and the buck-a-shuck oysters are always worth it (we got 48 oysters between the 2 of us). The pretzel was average, and if you’re deciding between the gochujang chicken bites and the cauliflower, I’d recommend going with the cauliflower. The Caesar drinks were pretty standard.
The vibe inside was chill and dimly lit, making it a nice spot to unwind. Parking is limited—you’ll need to find street parking or use a nearby garage (there’s one close by that offers $7 parking after 7 PM from Sunday to Thursday). When we arrived, we weren’t sure where the front entrance was, so we ended up entering through the patio doors. By the time we left, we realized where the actual front door was. Overall, a good night out with a few quirks.
Awesome spot close to the entertainment district with the best craft beer and whisky menu in town. The food is also amazing and the happy hour special is a great deal.
We came for the buck a shuck oyster deal. We of course didn’t expect much from the oysters — which were fine but definitely on the small side, however service wasn’t welcoming at all. Since sitting down, it took a very long time for anyone to come to our table and it took a long time for food to come too, which was weird since the table across from us came in 15mins after us and still got their oysters before us. It seemed they were much more attentive and happy towards them compared to us, and I felt pretty unwelcomed there. It wasn’t super busy either inside.
Good place for a beer and to have some food.
Although not many vegetarian option, the beyond meat burger was really good!
Dark and loud, but a great place to meet and grab a drink before a concert downtown.
Food is delicious and in good portions !
Great place with great service. Accidentally smacked my beer and the glass broke on the bar. Bartender cleaned it up quickly and poured me another one with a smile on her face. A+ service.
Dark and moody place to sip a dark and moody beer
Really beat my expectations. The kimchi nachos were wonderful, as was the Reuben. Staff was super nice and fun, great vibe.
Good selection of beers on tap and surprisingly delicious food!
Non pretentious vibes on king st w, slightly gritty but but welcoming. I've been here for drinks a few times before and decided to try some food this time around. Both my club sandwich and the burgers my friend order were amazing, especially for pub food. They offer typical bar fair but with an extra level of thought and care put into the dishes.
Food is reasonably priced and service is fine. Would definitely stop by if you're in the area and want a good meal with some pints.

A good easy going pub
Rob provided exceptional service; despite his heavy workload, he consistently prioritized table management🤩
Favourite bar - fantastic atmosphere
One of the better beer places in the whole city. You should go.
Was pretty pleasantly surprised with my visit here. Was looking for dinner in the area and walked by this place.
The vibe is homey, and people are pretty chill both with the guests and the staff. The staff were quick to acknowledge us and show us to a table and also very attentive and nice to talk to throughout.
They have a lot of interesting beers on their menu. It was nice to get a beer here that I haven’t seen in a while.
I got their maple bacon jam burger, which was pretty good. It had a pretty satisfying balance of flavours and textures to it. I liked the sweetness with the jam, and also the creaminess of the brie cheese with the peppery taste of the arugula.
Would recommend trying this place out if you’re in the area. Pretty great service, food, and for a good price.
