They said there were only two rooms with Korean machines and that just one was left, so they led us there — but the machine didn’t work. Then they moved us to another room (so I guess the ‘only one room left’ thing was a lie). But the mic didn’t work well in either room… and during the last 20 minutes it stopped working completely. It was ridiculous, especially after paying 45 dollars. Honestly, I think I’ll just sing at home with the bathroom door closed from now on.

Great place for karaoke. If there's a song they don't have you can always check ahead of time and email them and they're pretty quick to get them added to their database.

Had a blast at this karaoke bar last night. The staff was really friendly and accommodating when it came to starting the room rental and extending the hours. Service was fast and courteous. I did not purchase any food and cannot comment on the food but everything else was a great experience. The iPad with song choice is really a great feature. It’s so easy to use and creates a much better experience for the participants choosing their songs and customizing their playlist. I will definitely come again!

Jacob has been really helpful with the situation as my friend lost her phone and got anxious but we found the phone in car and Jacob took us back since we booked and left to find it- he was very respectful and polite.

I was with my daughter. We liked that it was clean, but the rooms weren't soundproof enough to avoid hearing other people's singing in the adjacent rooms. Unfortunately, they don't have any Russian songs. Please consider adding this feature, and we will visit more frequently.

Great Karaoke place downtown! You are also allowed to bring your own food!

This is my favourite kareoke spot in Toronto. The rooms were comfortable and we are able to bring our own food! There are two screens so you can face the group of friends while looking at the other screen. The song selection is great, as always, it doesnt have everything, but it has the most selection out of any kareoke place I've been to

Last night, my friends and I (a group of four Black women) went to a karaoke bar to celebrate the last night of the Blue Jays World Series game. When we arrived, the hostess told us the bar was fully booked and that we needed a reservation to come in. So we stepped downstairs and waited quietly on the staircase for about ten minutes to figure out where to go next.
A little while later, a large group of about eight white men came in. I asked them if they had a reservation, and one of them said no. Despite that, they went upstairs and were allowed in right away without any issue. My friends and I then went back upstairs to ask why they were allowed in when we were told we couldn’t come in without a reservation.
The hostess, an Asian woman, said that people had canceled because of the Blue Jays’ loss, and that’s why they were able to come in. As I was leaving, I said, “Oh, I guess it’s because they’re white and we’re Black.” She quickly responded, “Oh, don’t make it about race it’s not a race thing.” Then she said, “I didn’t know you guys were still downstairs. If I knew, I would have let you back up because people didn’t show up after the game.”
But here’s the part that really stood out to me: right after she said, “Don’t make it about race,” suddenly there was space for us. They magically “found” a room for karaoke after telling us they were fully booked. So if they were truly full, how did they suddenly have a room available the moment I brought up race? It didn’t add up.
We ended up paying for the karaoke, but honestly, I regret it. The whole situation felt uncomfortable and discriminatory. It felt like the moment I mentioned race, they tried to fix things to cover themselves. Whether they realized it or not, the way we were treated as a group of Black women compared to that white group was unfair and hurtful.

Bar+ Karaoke is a great night out in Toronto. Clean private rooms, good sound system, huge song list (from the timeless ines to newest), and fast staff service for drinks/snacks. Fun for groups, or just stress relief with a mic. Highly recommend booking ahead 🎤✨

Such sweet and thoughtful staff, super helpful and crazy music selection. Highly recommend. The area is a little rough but if you’re driving it’s good.

I came here with a group of classmates last Thursday and we had a fantastic time! The room was clean, speakers were loud, mics were clear. Overall the place was really nice!
I'm a talkative person who loves to ask questions about the places I go to. When I was trying to speak to the bartender she seemed uninterested in having a conversation with me but moments prior to serving my friends and I she was laughing and talking to another group. Maybe they're just regulars 🤷🏾♂️ either way, I will definitely be coming back, this place rocked! Drinks were definitely pricey, I bought a single beer for $11😰 but hey, that's Toronto!

We had a great karaoke experience here as a company outing. Call ahead to ensure you get a room appropriate for your group's size. The room we had was large capable of sitting 20 people at least all around a low table making it easy to share out the shots of soju. The music selection was ample with a good sound and multiple microphones so everyone can enjoy singing together. Our bartender was also super nice. The beer and liquor selection is limited but that's fine this is not where you come to sit and sip drinks in fact there are no seats outside of the private karaoke rooms. It's definitely a no frills type of location. Overall a great time and a solid choice for groups to enjoy.

The staff here are incredible. The selection of songs they have are amazing. They have large and small rooms. Have a group of us who usually go here and enjoy it.
