Their food program is a joke. Service was your typical "hotel level" service, with no real hospitality. The drinks were the only reason this isn't a 1-star review.

Went there for dinner before a game. Sat there for 15 minutes and no one even stopped to ask us if we wanted a drink or take our order. The waiters ignored us completely while serving everyone around us. Don't bother with this place. Maybe the food is good maybe not. I'll never know. Deserves no star for no service.

Nice rooms. I stayed in a King Room and a King Suite. Both rooms were nicely furnished and clean. Both rooms had coffeemakers, electric kettles and mini refrigerators. Bonus for the suite was a guest powder room that was perfect for entertaining guests. Ambient music was playing next to the beds when I checked in. TVs were not smart so I had to use my tablet to enjoy streaming programming. (HDMI connections are accessible if you bring your own streaming device and cable. Not my style, but it's possible.) Hotel is only eight floors, so views are limited. Because of the proximity to sports venues, there were lots of opps to people watch. Hotel is within easy walking distance of dining, shopping and entertainment. Connected to PATH so it was super easy to visit the grocery store to grab water / snacks for my stay. Weather was very nice during my stay, but my guess is PATH is a big bonus during cold weather months. Room service menu was limited but the food was good and a good value. As noted, it was super easy to walk to local restaurants, so there are good food options. Housekeeping is great. If you want turndown service, you should let the front desk know at check-in. Staff were all friendly and very helpful. Rooms can be pricey, but if you find a room in your price range, this is a good choice.

It’s a small cosy bar in a hotel. Not a fast food joint with few yummy items on the menu. Great friendly staff and excellent service.

I visited Le Germain Hôtel during the month of December while I was in Toronto for work. I had lost my wallet the day prior so when I had to check in I asked if it was possible to pay a deposit with my Apple Pay, they mentioned that it would be $300/day since I didn't have my credit card, I was staying for 2 nights so that would be $600, which I thought was ridiculous. I remember once I couldn't find my credit card while checking in at the Fairmount hotel in Ottawa and they asked for 100$ as deposit and that's it. Just thought I should mention it. Other than that the room was clean and spacious but unfortunately for me it was basketball night and hockey night two nights in a row, and I could hear everything from my room, the ear plugs they provide really didn't help... My boss who was traveling with me didn't hear a thing from her room, so I was probably on the wrong side of the building.... I wouldn't book there again.

My husband and I spent a night at this hotel for our anniversary and got their In-Room Gastronomy Package which was very fitting for us. The In-Room Gastronomy Package includes: - a 4-course gastronomic fusion experience "WuSian Fusian" curated by Bar Le Germain's Chef Johnson Wu, served in the comfort of your room. All this with a great view of CN Tower in the heart of Toronto. - A bottle of wine selected to pair with the courses served - Breakfast in bed for two - 24 hour valet parking - Wi-Fi access This was truly one of the best anniversaries! the cherry in top was the Braised Pork Belly dish by Chef Johnson Wu...truly outstanding!

Excellent service and a surprisingly delicious burger!

nice setting, a good cocktail menu, excellent draft beers, a valid menu of entrees, and the main dishes are well prepared. But above all the personnel is very friendly and professional so your stay will be relaxed and smooth.

Service was excellent, and the food was insanely good. The massive fried chicken sandwich (any of them) is a must have. ? But the octupus was definitely some of the best I’ve had in this city. The horse tartar… I have mixed feelings. ? Kudos to chef Johnson Wu on the new asian inspired menu. I can’t wait to be back!

Small bar within the lobby area, but once you're in it feels separated from hotel. Service is great and quality of food and drinks is great too. Nice option if you wanna have guaranteed fun downtown T.O., $$$. Recommended.

The food is good and creative. Service was just okay and the food comes out a bit slow.Have to dock some points off for the price, can’t really justify it 100%
