Was there last night with my family, celebrating my birthday. We live pretty far but try to make it downtown every now and then, specifically to eat here, and as always, it was wonderful. The sourdough crust on the pizzas are my favorite, the special burger with caramelized onions was wonderful for my mother who can't eat cheese, the wine recommendation was excellent, and the panettone was heavenly. We ordered another panettone to take home, and it's now finished as we devoured it entirely the next morning. It's the best panettone I've ever had, and I've had a lot. Jill did a great job with recommendations and keeping track of what was a chaotic order. She was friendly, conversational, and knowledgeable of the menu. Jacomina and Giuseppe were wonderful hosts as always and made us feel at home. Can't wait until our next trip there.

The food is excellent, I recommend the pastas, the meat, and the wines, Bar Mercurio is an excellent place to bring your family or friends and have a conversation for hours, also last but not least The service was really nice, Jill is the best server in the city, so friendly and welcoming, but most Important our water glasses where never empty.

Ordered a Negroni. It came with an enormous ice cube that took up 95% of the glass. Less than 2 ounces of gin, vermouth, and Campari. I would have been embarrassed if I served this to someone. Over priced burnt pizza. Give this restaurant a pass.

Make sure to make a reservation! Felt like we were at Nonna's house for dinner, started by ringing the doorbell. The amazing staff helped us with the menu, but chose the seasonal item, pumpkin pizza anyways. Love trying new things and this pizza was really well done. Love the menu and will make my way back to try some more.

I tried the pepperoni pizza and it was a 10/10. I would say it’s the best pepperoni pizza in town. The service was also very high quality. I’d go back in a heartbeat, nothing beats a mom and pop joint like this.
