Very cute bar. Came here for a night cap and the vibe was dimly lit, warm with nice vibes. I remember downstairs being a loud club but upstairs you could talk and sit and order drinks and food. The servers were pretty attentive considering what Ive experienced in Toronto but we had a good time. I would come back and recommend.

What a great spot in Toronto.
Loved the food and ambiance the DJ, the service and the drinks!! Don't forget to try their cocktail soft serve. It was one of the best.
We lost count at how many $10 delicious spritzes we had. Only before 10pm.
Will definitely be back and check out their karaoke rooms too.

Went with a friend for drinks. We were sat at a table near the bar, the server was very friendly initially but later approached us to tell us that his shift was about to finish and wanted to know if we were done for the evening, we told him we weren’t and he passed us along to another server. Then he came back a few minutes later to tell us that he needed to close us out and we had to leave the table because our time was up and it was now someone else’s. We were surprised because the two tables beside us were empty but paid, and we were told we could sit at the bar (which was empty). We sat at the bar for another hour and a half (maybe 2) and during that time not only did no one take the table we sat at but our server continued to serve in that area. We were confused why we’re lied too, as we had regularly been ordering drinks and food for the table. We had gone here multiple times but this last experience put a bad taste in our mouths

Love it here! The atmosphere and dj after 11 is some of the best in TO. More mature crowd of 25/30+ which an awesome if you feel too old for the Apt 200s of the world, and people actually dancing!! This is our go to for a fun night of dancing in TO.

Visited Bar Mordecai on Saturday with a friend who doesn’t drink at all — he just planned to have a soft drink while I grabbed a beer. Security refused him entry, accusing him of being “intoxicated,” which is completely false and offensive. He’s never even consumed alcohol.
The whole situation reeked of racial profiling. One guard’s license number was 11394800, and the other, who introduced himself as Manny, had license number 11100043. It was obvious that they denied him entry because he’s Indian. Absolutely disgusting behavior. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who believes in fairness or equality.

Went to Bar Mordecai on Saturday with a friend who just wanted to grab a beer. I don’t drink, but I thought I’d hang out and have a soft drink. To my shock, the security refused me entry, claiming I was “intoxicated.” That’s honestly laughable — I’ve never had alcohol or tried any intoxicants in my life. It felt like a weak excuse to cover up blatant racism. As an Indian, I was clearly singled out and judged unfairly.
One of the security guards had a license number 11394800, and the other identified himself as Manny with license number 11100043. Both displayed clear discriminatory behavior. This place promotes racism and needs to be held accountable.

Food and drink here are fantastic, menu is customizable and all the meals can be built off one another. Staff here are amazing, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The karaoke rooms are so fun, and they have such an extensive drink menu! Highly recommend coming here on a Wednesday for live music!

Had the most fun here for a bachelorette. Staff was amazing, atmosphere was top notch. I didn’t try the food but the drinks were fantastic & they let us stay an extra hour! Was an absolute blast and will definitely be back.

We decided to hop out of the chaos of Do west fest and into the perfectly beautiful Bar Mordecai. This place is not only aesthetically pleasing, the food was delicious. We had the oysters and a few other shareables but overall the service made for the BEST time. Our girl Tea was so helpful and warm. Gave us some awesome recommendations and made my friends who were visiting from the US a great experience. 10/10 will be back
