The service was atrocious. The menu was decent but overpriced for the portion sizes. The solarium was uncomfortably cold, making it difficult to enjoy. Unfortunately, the poor service alone is enough reason not to return.

This establishment is a very cute, quaint, and intimate space. Aesthetically it’s everything you would picture. Unfortunately my group was extremely disappointed by the food offerings which all sounded delicious as read on the menu. First of all the onion dip, a sad small portion of knock off heluva good dip mixed with olive oil served with kettle chip crumbs. The duck crostini was good, the burrata was ok but small portioned. The beef bourguignon was extremely disappointing. After my first bite of lumpy flavourless potato I turned to the kitchen to realize there was no kitchen. Just a few crockpots sitting on the counter behind the bar full of unsalted beef. And lastly the gem salad, delicious but it was served after all of our other food was long gone. Save your funds and go next door to the subway, you will get a much more balanced meal.

Great place for a glass of wine and a snack. Atmosphere was definitely casual but a great vibe. Mortatella bun is a must. Small menu, good bites, great wine. We'll go back!

Such a poor experience last night. My friend and I have come here a couple of times & have not been treated this way before.
We came at about 11pm & ordered a bottle of bubbles. We asked for the charcuterie, to which the manger dude said “kitchen is closed”. Which is fine, but my friend then asked another bartender & he said the kitchen closed at 12am… not exactly sure what the manager’s deal was.
I was hungry & did not want to drink without eating something, so I hopped over to subway to grab a sub & potato bites. I asked the barback if he would mind if I snacked & he said “sure”.
I didn’t even get one bite of the potato bites in before the manager comes & scolds me with “you can’t do that here”. I wouldn’t have to bring outside food into the bar if he had given us the charcuterie, I also was not planning on eating the sub there, I went outside to eat it. Mind you the bar and entire place was not packed by any means, there was maybe 3 other groups.
The barback then apologized to me for the manager’s behaviour. Awfully rude of the manager & just so unprofessional. Wine was good, but he put a bad taste in my mouth. He needs to fix that attitude problem he has got going on, it’s embarrassing on his part and tainting the wine bar’s reputation.

Had a bottle of yummy orange wine. Sat on the cute and quiet back patio. Vibe was cozy and quaint. Noticed they do paint and sip nights some Mondays and will be returning to try!

A quiet place to drink a delicious wine or beer, it is very well decorated, vintage style, they have an area in the back where the roof is made of glass and you can enjoy the sunny days. It could improve the atmosphere to make it an essential place to visit.

I echoe all the reviews mentioning the - very - unpleasant service. Actually, the waitress was nice and friendly but the man (seemingly the manager) was so unwelcoming that I just felt like leaving immediately but was forced to stay after they seated us. The exact opposite of the friendly, bon vivant atmosphere a wine bar should be. I almost chocked when I saw the charcuterie board (46cad) with 2 charcuterie and 1 small piece of cheese. The bare minimum to call it a "board". Then my partner reminded me we were on Queen West, so this pricing makes sense (just eat before coming) BUT for this price, please, PLEASE smile and make people feel welcome and comfortable. Very disappointing experience overall despite the good food and wine. Ossington nearby has same quality wine bars with warm, non-arrogant service.
Kid-friendliness: We felt extremely unwelcome for coming with kids. Waiter almost scoffed when we asked for a high chair and if they had a side of fries in the menu. Commented with arrogance "we're very much a wine bar". Very stupid of them.

Great service and great selection of wines. Staff are very friendly, we enjoyed the atmosphere. We tried a spanish red win and a south african "skin contact"; the spanish red was our favourite. They also have a nice selection from the snack menu, we tried the heirloom tomatoes and the olives, both of which were amazing.

We had the oysters, tuna crudo, radicchio salad and mushroom crustini, all were amazing! Definitely a great spot for a date night with sharables and lots of wine available by the glass. Service was great and we appreciated that they timed bringing out all the dishes very well one at at time not making us feel rushed.

Probably the most confusing service I’ve received at a restaurant/bar. It was almost like the server didn’t event want to take our order or come near us no words beyond that. Maybe a hot take the mortadella sandwich to me is really weird and I love mortadella but a ball of thickly cut and I am not even sure good quality mortadella is repulsing. The rest of the food was good and well priced decent wine choices.

Cutest little covered patio in the back! Perfect for a little serving of strawberry cobbler in the summer.
