Pasta was undercooked and very chewy. Very overpriced for the quality and amount of food on the plate. Music was so loud, we had to shout to hear each other. We couldn’t choose our own table, and had to sit on the high seats, which were uncomfortable.

This is one of my favorite spots in town. Their food is always great. Rob truly turned our day around with the brightest smile. My friend and I were having a bit of a bad day and he was so warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to take care of us.

Nyc spicy rigatoni although good, wasn't spicy at all. Mushroom Arancini sucked. It was clearly frozen for days and then brought to life with a quick fry before serving. Server mentioned there is a time limit of 2 hours. Like people don't have any other thing to do than spend all day in there bar.
Our night at Bar Poet was one for the books! Brandon, the bartender, ensured we had a great night! From Skee Ball competitions to excellent costumer service to bonding over being a fellow Swifties, he went above and beyond to make our night in Toronto a memorable one! 10/10 would recommend Bar Poet and Brandon !!

I would not recommend this place to people of colour. Staff were resist and very rude. If you are not white they will be rude to you and treat you like a second class citizen. The place made me really uncomfortable about my racial background and it’s sad that they would treat you different just because of your racial background. I would give zero stars if google had that option. Highly unrecommended.
