Nyc spicy rigatoni although good, wasn't spicy at all. Mushroom Arancini sucked. It was clearly frozen for days and then brought to life with a quick fry before serving. Server mentioned there is a time limit of 2 hours. Like people don't have any other thing to do than spend all day in there bar.

From Skee Ball competitions to excellent costumer service to bonding over being a fellow Swifties, he went above and beyond to make our night in Toronto a memorable one! 10/10 would recommend Bar Poet and Brandon !!

I would not recommend this place to people of colour. Staff were resist and very rude. If you are not white they will be rude to you and treat you like a second class citizen. The place made me really uncomfortable about my racial background and it’s sad that they would treat you different just because of your racial background. I would give zero stars if google had that option. Highly unrecommended.

Tried to come here, we were told 45 min on a Thurs without a reservation (totally cool, makes sense we’d need to wait); put in our name and came back over an hour later to check in, hear them tell a brand new group of 4 in front of us “only 10 min let us clear something” but after that tell us “30 more min”.
So decided to go nearby, then 2.5hr later still nothing… just super bizarre. Not sure why but honestly if they just couldn’t seat us without a rez for the evening: just tell me! No sweat and lets me go down the road vs be totally lied to.
Stef was amazing! She provided great service, fun and we kept coming back! 10/10,

Last Saturday, I celebrated my birthday at Bar Poet together with my colleagues. The night before that, had to come and visit the place to make some changes on our reservations. I had a reservation for 8 people and need to changed it to 20. Mark, the Manager, was so approachable. Even though, it was a last minute notice he able to made things possible.
On the day, Mark was there and was so hands-on attending us, together with him was Stefani. They were checking on us every now and then. They are approachable, attentive, efficient and accommodating. Plus! They treat us shots too?
We really had a great time at Bar Poet, it was my first time and they made it a super memorable one. Everyone was so happy and had so much fun. I highly recommend Bar Poet because of its great service, exceptional foods and drinks, and a remarkable place. Will surely comeback for another party and/or to just simply dine in and chill :)
I cannot thank enough Bar Poet, Mark and Stef, and the rest of the guys on that night who attended us and made my Birthday an unforgettable one.

Came to poet with some friends from out of town and the host Ryan was so accommodating, it was jammed packed but she was able to get us a table very quick! Our server Kate was so great and attentive! Fun vibes, must go!

Very poor service from one of the white male bartenders on Friday nights. He messed up my order but then blamed it on me so naturally “you said you wanted that” when I literally said nothing. He didn’t even ask for the specifics when I ordered. These bartenders are just busy chatting with the ladies at the bar lol.
