My favourite cocktail bar in Toronto, by far! The juliet rose is the yummiest cocktail I have ever had — super sweet, peachy, and has very little alcohol taste. The purple rain is also great for those who like sweet drinks. I definitely recommend getting the hot rod pizza — the hot honey makes the pizza sweet and savoury at the same time.
Service is extremely nice and attentive, and food came out surprisingly quick! The interior atmosphere is perfect for a nice date with friends or a partner.

I came in with a large group and everyone was so accommodating and nice! Loved our servers Rob and Noah they were full of recommendations and so personable and fun to chat with. The vibes are also so cool inside I definitely recommend for a girls night or a date night!!!

The garlic fingers were decent, but the worst donair sauce I have ever eaten in my life! Very gritty texture. If you are from the Maritimes/Atlantic Canada and are craving gf with real donair sauce I would look elsewhere.

I was visiting out of town for work and after bar hopping for a few hours I finally settled at bar port. The vibe was cozy and intimate, the drinks were very well balanced, and Brandon behind the bar was amazing. Making it a staple every time I go back to Toronto.

The appeal of Bar Poet is always the patio vibe - I yearn to be seated there every time I bike by. Happy hour on the patio: $28 for a pizza and app-size salad. The Casablanca pizza - wish this had more chicken, delicious otherwise. Light crust, good undercarriage. Garden salad (arugula and beets): wish this had a better ratio of beets to arugula.
