Good vibe and service! Nice wine recommendations! The food is okay, the chicken liver is the best, along with the wagyu. The scallops are mid; the scallop meat itself is too small, although the bread that comes with the scrap is a 10/10. I wouldn't recommend the grilled squid because it tastes very bitter, even with the sauce. Not sure if it was overcooked or if it's meant to taste that bitter since it's grilled. Overall, it's a bit pricey, but a good experience.

Outstanding evening at Bar Prima for our annual friends Christmas. We did the Chef's Tasting Menu which truly Represented the greatest hits. Shout out to the Mushroom Ravioli, Scallop Rockefeller and of courser the Waygu. Highly recommend Bar Prima

Honestly, one of the best meals and service we've ever had in the city. It was incredible. Highly recommend.

The food was spectacular, well worth the price. We didnt realize there was an upstairs and downstairs seating area. Both have their positives. Downstairs was more intimate and less people up and about. The upstairs was a much bigger space more open with more going on (the bar, the kitchen. The noise was a bit more in both spaces than I am used to in a restaurant but it was almost full and didnt really affect our evening. It was not quiet with people murmuring and subdued.

Very good food one of my favourite small Italian restaurants in the city smaller portions and pricey but worth it

The service was not friendly. They didn't even mention the birthday we were celebrating even though I left this note in the reservation. I had the lamb shoulder pasta which came cold, taste was passable. I would not recommend or go back.

The downstairs level is very cute and private. Our server was amazing, food was great. Highly recommend the Wagyu here!

Amazing food, service and ambiance. Absolutely worth a visit and the best italian restaurant in Toronto. Michelin star quality!

I really enjoy Bar Prima which is why we continue to visit every time we are in Toronto. Last night was another great experience. What made it even more enjoyable was our server,Jarrod. He was very personable and engaging, and he got my husbands humour! The girls who seated us were also quite helpful, and even accommodated my request to change our initial table. The food is always outstanding. I would make 2 suggestions; 1. Offer sweetner for those who may have diabetes and others who cant consume sugar 2. Offer cheese on the dessert menu, traditional Italians like to have cheese as an option following dinner.

We had the most wonderful experience at Bar Prima on Friday, November 14th. My boyfriend and I have had date nights at many restaurants around the city, but from the delicious food/wine, to the amazing service, Bar Prima takes the cake!

Bar Prima was a great time all around. The service was friendly and on point, and the food really delivered. The two dishes that stole the show were the Lobster Fra Diavola, which had amazing flavor and perfectly cooked lobster, and the Scallops Rockefeller, which were rich, fresh and seriously tasty. Overall, an excellent meal with great vibes. I would happily go back.

I found the service and meal pacing at Bar Prima to be quite poor. While the space itself is beautiful, the food was underwhelming. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived, and by the time we sat down, we were ready to order. We had the tomato tramezzini, chicken liver & caviar maritozzi, scallops Rockefeller, and lobster fra diavola. The scallops Rockefeller were nicely presented, but the scallops themselves were about the size of a dime. There was about a 25-minute wait between each dish, which felt excessive given that each plate was only a few bites. It took nearly two hours for the lobster fra diavola to arrive, and the portion included only a couple tablespoons of lobster. Although they boast about making their pasta in-house, ours was overcooked. Meanwhile, a table of six seated well after us received all of their courses, finished dessert, and paid their bill before our dessert even arrived. By the time we wrapped up, more than three hours had passed since our reservation. I don't mind paying more for good food, but in this case, spending $250 and still needing to grab a slice of pizza next door afterward didn't feel worth it.

Second time there and it was even better than the first. Service was impeccable, and the lobster pasta was my favourite dish of the night. Insane.
