We had high hopes when we visited Bar Wellington but we were promptly let down. The staff are poorly trained and not attentive to customers. On our first visit, our server appeared to have been smoking something and couldn’t string a sentence together. He got our order wrong and was inappropriately chatting with some of our friends. The bar is in a great area along wellington street however the staff at this place really let it down as the food is actually ok.

Had a very nice and chill night here! The servers were very kind and attentive.
We did not try the food there as we weren't hungry, but we wanted to have a drink. The satff was really nice, service was quick, atmosphere was really cool. The neighbouring visotors ordered burgers and sslsds and everythung seemed very good and the portions were also quite good. We came back another da as we wanted to try the food, but it was closed.

Came by on a Saturday night with a friend to grab a quick bite—we both consider ourselves wing connoisseurs and are always on the hunt for the best wings in the city, from east to west. And I’ve got to say: these wings easily make the top 3.
We grabbed seats at the bar and were served by Max—a gorgeous and charismatic bartender. The place was clearly busy and looked a bit understaffed, but the energy was still great.
What really stood out was the personal touch: the chef himself brought our food out to us. We loved the wings so much, we ordered a second round—and again, he brought them out personally. We had a nice chat with him (he introduced himself as Crispy) and let him know how much we appreciated the food. He told us he makes the wings from scratch, and you could tell he takes real pride in them. That level of care and passion definitely came through in the flavor.
We’ll absolutely be back for another round of wings—hopefully with some new flavors to try, too. A really memorable visit, and with a bit more support on the front-of-house side, this place could really thrive.

My friends and I came on a Thursday night, for some drinks and catch up, that atmosphere was nice so was the food, but what really stood out to us was our amazing server Thea and the sangria she made especially for us! We had asked if the sangria could be made with white wine and Thea whiped something together for us and it was so delicious we got two pitchers! Such an amazing server and drink we will be back for sure!
