It’s a good spot for traditional steakhouse experience. Attentive servers, old-fashioned decor, delicious steak and cozy vibes. Highly recommended for a date night only thing the lighting might be a little bit too dark.
Last time I was in, we had a server with a goatee who was not interested in our table or our experience. Usually this place is spot on with service but he was super subpar. Younger guy maybe late 30s early 40s with glasses too. He would pop by the table and say “you good?” And fifteen minutes later “more drinks?” And two of our steaks were undercooked and he never came back to check on them. I recommend this historic and interesting steakhouse if budget is not a concern. They’ve kept everything old-fashioned — from the décor and ambiance to the booking system.
Although we had reservations, we still waited about 5 minutes to be seated. The wine list is extensive, while the food menu is classic and simple. The steak was excellent in quality, appetizers were tasty, and dessert was quite basic.
