Overrated! While it was a good experience. They asked us to leave after a few hours. We weren't sitting around in fact we wanted more drinks and food. We spent close to $700.00 and would have spent more. Won't be going back but give it a try. You might like it. We continued our evening at Doc's Green Door in the junction.

Been here a number of times. As always the staff are very professional and provided a wonderful experience. Exception drinks, and probably the best date night ambiance in the city. My partner and I were both very impressed as usual. 10/10.

Drinks were all hands-down the most inventive and well-balanced of any we've ever enjoyed. Each libation was crafted with precision, inventiveness, and love. Various members of the team were all attentive and introduced themselves throughout the night - we genuinely felt like guests. We enjoyed the same refined experience you'd expect from any other fine-dining restaurant, but with the attention focused squarely on stimulating every sense through their cocktail creations. Cannot wait to come back.

We were genuinely excited to visit BarChef after hearing glowing recommendations from friends who frequent the spot. The inventive cocktail program had us intrigued, and we made a 7 PM reservation with high hopes. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a knowledgeable and friendly mixologist who gave us a great overview of the menu. Our server then stopped by to offer water and take our drink orders. Unfortunately, that was the last we saw of him—until we finally flagged him down for the bill, over an hour later. In total, we were there for over an hour and only had three staff interactions: one to explain the menu, one to take our drink order, and one when we requested the bill. Our $42 cocktails were dropped off by the mixologist, and no one ever returned to check on us. We had fully intended to order a second round and dinner, but the opportunity simply never came. While we understand and even appreciate a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere, this crossed the line into neglect. It felt like we were forgotten, despite our server passing by our table multiple times. It's not the level of service you'd expect from a place with BarChef's reputation. Sadly, it left us disappointed, and we're not likely to return.

This place is incredibly hit or miss based on the bartenders working that evening. You can have a great experience with a talented mixologist or you can sit idly by while two bartenders talk to one another and neglected the customers. I'm always happy to pay $30/cocktail for a great experience and a great drink. I'm never happy paying $30/cocktail to disinterested employees who don't even necessarily seem to know what they're doing.

I absolutely love this bar. Food is delicious but you come here for the cocktails. You will not be disappointed and if you want a unique experience you need to try there cocktails. Great ambiance and the staff are amazing and passionate about their work.
