It used to be great but something changed and it's too much sugar and syrup pre mixed and just not heart or soul to the drinks no more
Pre COVID I used to go there at least once a month now I would recommend! Too pricey for the quality this days

I can’t speak for the food, but the drinks are totally a work of art and have a very unique taste. The presentation is something I personally haven’t seen (and I go out to eat a lot!). I will definitely try bar chef again when I’m in Toronto!! The only reason for the -1 star is that we started off to a slightly bumpy start. The hostess accidentally knocked over a water glass from her tray onto on our table which then smashed. The pieces were everywhere and it even went into my cousins shoe. There wasn’t any other table to put us at so we just had to wait while they cleaned our table and seats. They did bring us a round of shots as a way to apologize which we appreciated. Accidents happen and hopefully when I visit again I can adjust my review to the 5 stars it deserves because this spot is totally worth checking out if you’re in Toronto.

BarChef is a truly unique spot with a fantastic ambiance and some of the most beautifully presented cocktails I’ve ever seen. The creativity and effort behind each drink are impressive, making it an experience beyond just having a drink. While I had high expectations, the overall experience was enjoyable, and it’s definitely worth visiting for the artistry and atmosphere.
