My wife and I went here for Valentine's day. We frequent mid to high end steakhouses. It was not busy. The service was excellent and the atmosphere tho dated was pleasant enough and whats to be expected. Bardi's is priced below blue bloods and some of the other steak houses, but higher than the keg and silimar to Ruth Chris. The cuts were limited. We ordered a porterhouse for 2 medium rare. Although it was cooked to medium rare somehow it was very dry and lacked flavour. The sides of asparagus and brussel sprouts were very good. But the steak was not. Perhaps it was precooked? Or left under the warming lamps for too long.. I would sadly rank this at the bottom of the list for toronto area steak houses.

Unfortunately they missed the mark on cooking my steak, for a steak house medium rare should not have been an issue. French onion soup and mushrooms where fantastic, wait staff also outstanding! Personally jazz music should have been a little more background. Decor is old town steak house, but they need a couple small updates to i.e. servings station as it looking decrepit and makes it look dirty, low lighting helps hide the need for a wall cleaning. Expected better cleaning in washrooms....

This was the first time in a while that I'd been to Bardi's for the lunch, the occasion being a lunch with my son. We both had the 12 ounce New York striploin with fries. The steaks were cooked to order and were delicious. Neither of us were drinking and the fact that we both had to get back to work made dessert nothing more than coffee. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, the only negative being that the side Caesar salad that I ordered was not served (as I was not charged, I decided not to make an issue of this). Having enjoyed previous meals at Bardi's I would definitely come back..

Were looking for a last minute place to go for a nicer dinner that was within walking distance to our hotel. Had always heard good things about Bardi's and decided to give it a try and we're not disappointed. Staff were friendly and attentive and food was great. So happy there was not a hockey or basketball game because I know they are packed on those nights being so close to the arena. Were able to have a nice, quiet, non rushed meal. All of the food was of great quality (appetizers, main meals and dessert) and they have a nice wine list as well. Yes, the place is showing its age but it adds to the the character. We will definitely be back.
