Service is painfully slow. We ordered a salad and pizza for dinner. The pizza was overcooked. The whole process took so much time we skipped dessert and coffee.

Barnstriner's wiener schnitzel is so consistently perfect. We are regular fans! The service and ambiance is also consistently perfect!
We had a birthday party here for our 99 yr old friend and everything was absolutely perfect! The staff were exceptional (thank you Donovan), the food was outstanding (from the fish special to the oysters to the rissotto) and couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere. Thank you to everyone for making this such a special and memorable evening.

I have been living in the neighbourhood for quite some time and I am surprised that just now I came to Barnsteiner’s, what a great place!
I came on a Wednesday night with a friend of mine for dinner, what a great surprise, the food was amazing, fresh and flavourful.
Cocktails were made great, they have a good selection of wines as well. Service by Donovan was excellent, he was very welcoming, professional and super friendly.
Overall we have a great experience and I can’t wait to come back and try different dishes!

Great temperature to eat outside. Very pleasant. Seating a touch snug. Service a touch on slow side. Left hanging to order drinks a bit too long but when it came service very cheerful and helpful. Food just fine. Good oysters, delicious schnitzel. Open table reservation confusing. Wanted 7:00PM.Computer said 6:15 or well after 7:00. Chose the former. At 7:00 PM. we could have sat anywhere. Not a big inconvenience, just an observation. Definite return. A&FM

They had a special last week that was one of the best pasta dishes I have had in years. It was a Slow cooked Short Rib and mushroy spaghettini. All the dishes are great hear.. never been disappointed 👍

Our food was disappointing. My daughter's soup arrived cold and when they took it back to reheat it, the dish was certainly hot, but the soup was still lukewarm. The main tuna was excellent, but the stew and the veal dishes were five out of 10. Loved the service, but not sure that we would rush back due to the quality of food.
