Great atmosphere with great food and service. Very kid friendly which can be difficult to find in Toronto. I would definitely recommend to friends and family can't wait to go back đ

Excellent brisket!
This was an exceptional experience! The Google reviews are spot on. The service was great, and the food and portions were awesome. Special shoutout to our server, ZZ, who took care of our table. ZZ was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, very friendly, extremely helpful, and patient. This barbecue spot is definitely the one I would go back to in a heartbeat. Five out of five! Nothing but praises for the staff and the food. This place is now something thatâs going to bring me over to this area.

I've been here a bunch over the years. I guess lunch isn't the best time to go here, they have a strange position, wedged between traditional table service and a cafeteria. I applaud them for trying to adjust traditional service to accommodate a changing industry, but I feel like it's a miss. Food was ok, I remember it being better. Value was fantastic though. And the 'no-gratuity' policy is welcome for a quick, inexpensive lunch.

The staff here are FANTASTIC! It was my sonâs 5th birthday and they made him feel like he was a king. Special shout out to Julia who was so amazing with him. Weâve been coming here since Barque opened and look forward to many more years of baby back ribs! Awesome food and awesome people.

Incredible experience. Had the platter for two, celebrating getting married less than a week ago. Service was great, was gifted a âBarque Barkâ as celebration. 10/10 spot.

I love coming here for the food but Barque also has the best staff! I always have such a great experience here. The brisket is perfect, and I am a big fan of the chicken tenders.
Never had a bad time and it's a great neighbourhood spot.
Come for the food, stay for the vibes.

If I could 10 star them I would!
This is my favorite bbq place ever in the whole Toronto. I keep coming back to it when I crave for proper meat plate made with attention and care. The prices in the menu include tips so the waiters get decent wages, which I think, should be a standard in restaurant industry.

Stopped at Barque on our culinary adventure food tour and got hit with brisket tacos so good I briefly considered quitting my day job to become a professional taco groupie. Smoky, juicy, melt-in-your-mouth perfection wrapped in a tortilla â basically edible happiness. Cozy vibe, friendly staff, and clearly a team that treats their smoker like a holy altar. If youâre in Roncesvalles, come hungry⊠and maybe wear stretchy pants.

From brunch to dinner meals you wonât be disappointedâŠRibâs & Chicken Fingers YUM, sooooooo amazing BBQ in the city !!!
Great place, great BBQ, great people.
How other Toronto BBQ places get the same ratings as this place when they're far inferior is beyond me. I won't name them, but they don't hold a candle to Barque food-wise and I've been to a lot of highly rated BBQ joints here and the south US.

We drove an hour to get here on August 26,2025. We went for dinner.
If you have to drive more than 30 minutes.
I wouldnât do it. The food is good. But not excellent. Price is around $45 to $50 for a dish. But portion are small. I have been in real BBQ places in the USA and when I ordered the share me for three persons for $ 172 ( they charge me a bit extra for half a rack of ribs instead of a quarter of a rack and also they charge another $10 for asking for double brisket. It was supposed to be three meats for $162 , however I requested a half rack of ribs instead of a quarter ( increases the price a bit ) and then I also wanted two of the same kind of meats(brisket ) so the waitress said that would be an extra $10. Total of $172.
When she brought the plate, my partner and I looked at each other and thought we were missing an order of meat.
The half rack of ribs in my opinion looked like a quarter of other bbq places I had visited in the past.
Ribs were good, brisket was not my favourite but ok.
I give it a solid 3 for value for your money.
Service and atmosphere were great. Would I go back is a solid No.

We came back after not having the best experience over the summer, and this visit was completely different in the best way. The lemon pepper wings we tried were moist, the mac and cheese was creamy and velvety, and paired well with the sausage and ribs. The dill coleslaw was fresh, tangy, and the perfect balance to all the rich BBQ. Really glad we came back!

We had the smoked chicken wings, crispy chicken tenders, and the charred broccoli salad â everything was delicious! The flavors were spot on, and the portions were generous. Service was also excellent â friendly and attentive throughout. Definitely a great spot to enjoy good BBQ in Toronto
