a tad rude :(

I recently visited at this location and had a very disappointing experience. After ordering my ice cream, I took a spoon from the box kept near the customer counter. Immediately, one of your staff members told me that I should ask before taking a spoon and, in doing so, made extremely disrespectful and insulting facial expressions.

When I politely requested her not to make such faces toward customers, instead of handling the situation professionally, she responded rudely by saying, “I was born with this face.” This response was not only unprofessional but also highly disrespectful to a paying customer.

Good customer service is essential in the food industry, and employees should be trained to treat customers with respect. If a staff member does not know how to handle customers politely, then proper training is needed.

Additionally, when I asked for her name to provide proper feedback, she refused to share it. I am not sure why she felt the need to hide her identity.

I hope the management takes this matter seriously and ensures staff members are trained in professional behavior, so future customers do not face such unpleasant experiences.

With the sweltering heat at an all time high this time of year, a scoop of ice cream lovin’ is much needed. Walking through Scarborough Town Centre can be like fighting for your life in the trenches. There’s screaming children, teens trying to make viral tiktoks but really just causing a disturbance, the scent of patties and the ttc swirling around to make the most interesting concoction of smells that violate your nose. Not that the patties stink, they’re actually quite wonderful, but the mall can be a bit much sometimes. The employees at Baskin Robins are like if Xanax was a person. They calm your anxiety and are always so helpful. Today I was helped by the most lovely worker, Joyce! She let my friend and I try different samples and her beautiful personality convinced me to buy not only one scoop but two! She joked and giggled with us and made it such a pleasurable experience. Joyce was sunshine in human form and immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable. You don’t really think about customer service when ordering ice cream but this is an interaction I’ll be thinking of for days. Weeks even. She was such a lovely soul. Thank you Joyce for a wonderful experience! We were served scoops of both deliciousness and fun!

Worker was rude. There were no other customers nearby and it still took a minute to get her attention to order. Also didn’t even offer a receipt.

The worst Baskin Robbins location. I love ice cream but will never purchase from here and support their business. The service is absolutely terrible and they don't wear gloves when scooping or serving the ice cream like the Baskin Robbins near McCowan and Finch. If I want ice cream and I'm already at the mall, I drive to a different Baskin Robbins.

During my most recent experience, my brother and I stood and waited just for the girl working to acknowledge us. But she never did. She continued to look down and away while making waffle cones.

This location also offers layered sundaes, something not offered previously. But they do not have the right cups for it. They put it all in the shake/smoothie cup and it melts faster. I don't think it is appropriate to offer it in the incorrect cup - poor presentation and delivery.

Really bad customer service

I’ve always enjoyed Baskin & Robbins ice cream, but I had a disappointing experience at the STC location recently. I politely asked if I could order a milkshake, understanding it was close to closing time, but was met with an abrupt and curt “No” from one employee, while another just stared at me. The response felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. Regardless of how much I like their ice cream, I won’t be returning to a location where the staff treats customers so poorly—especially when there are plenty of other great options around.

If I can rate zero I will give zero with my experience today. A Filipina lady served me with a very bad mood because prior to me, I saw how she yelled to an Indian lady who supposed to order. But since her attitude towards the Indian lady isn’t appropriate, the customer canceled her order. I was the next in line and about to order but she pointed the last line and told me to line up there. She didn’t even apologize and insisted that she needs to cash out the customer behind me. I will understand her if she will say, “oh I’m sorry that I didn’t see you. Can I cash her out so quick?” But she’s not apologetic, instead, she’s very rude! She seems that she doesn’t like what she is doing.
If she has an anger issues, she should know how to set aside her personal problems to her work ethics. We are both Filipinos but shame on her for her zero customer service! I asked her Chinese colleague, a nice and accommodating lady, and told me that the Filipina’s name is Angelica.
Cashier number 15 KAM needs to retrain properly! Bad service! First time I encountered with this kind of service!

Staff is rude was there around afternoon today and The girl was very rude because I wanted her to scoop out the ice cream from a specific part. Victoria park location has much better customer service

I asked for the variety pack that is on the screen for $19.99, but cashier told me its actually $25. I dont understand why they promote it with the wrong prices!!!!

Came by to order some ice cream on a slow Monday. The representative working today around 2:30pm 3:00pm had ZERO RESPECT! The Filipina lady was absolutely rude, acted like she doesn’t want to work there and talked in a very demanding way. Had to serve us another scoop because she was so angry she dropped the ice cream.

No customer deserves to be treated the way we were treated. I came here so that you don’t have to come here. Please avoid the lady there from that time. She has ZERO RESPECT.
