This was shockingly terrible. After having read various glowing reviews, my partner and I were really excited to try this new french spot. But right off the bat we ordered the mussels, fish soup and three cheeses to start. The order was served with complimentary bread and whipped butter which was the star of the show. The mussels were not good. They were declamed served in an excessive amount of cream sauce with a crunch texture that we could not be describe as anything other than unappetizing. We did not finish it. The soup was also a big miss. It had an extremely pungent smell of strong fish and my partner remarked it smelled like dog food. He did not eat his half but I did and I am already feeling the after effects of that poor decision. And lastly the fish was the worst of them all. We did not even try it because the smell alone reeked of stale airplane food. It was a gelatinous fish cake that left little to be desirable. I am so confused as to why I have only seen great review of this place. I will not be returning. If you were looking for french alternatives I would recommend Maison T, Le Baratin, or Le swan.

This is a hidden gem in East Chinatown area! My boyfriend attempted to make a reservation for Valentine's day the first week of January to be placed on the waitlist. But thank you to the people who couldn't make it, we were able to secure a table for that night. Because it's Valentine's, they had a prix fixe menu to make things easier for their kitchen staff and for the indecisive customers. They had 2 options for appetizers and entrees, so we ordered one of each to sample everything. The mise en bouche was a little bite sized puff pastry with cheese inside, that was so delicious and was a great start to the meal. The appetizers were Oreille de la Belle Aurore and mussels. The Oreille was a sandwiched between 2 pieces of puffed pastry sheets really adding to the texture to the plate. The olive sauce really surprised me as it really enhanced the flavour. The mussel dish had large pieces of mussels in a sauce that was potato based. I was surprised by how light it was. The appetizers were so delicious and the portions were generous, for a moment, I forgot we had entrees on the way! For the entree, we had Vol-au-vent and Veal Rack Roti. The Vo-au-vent had lobsters on a puff pastry, I really enjoyed how the lobster was completely deshelled and surprised how the puff pastry was still crispy even though the dish was saucy! The flavour and texture was really there with this dish. The veal was done exceptionally well! The flavour was amazing and the texture was so tender. We can eat this dish all day if we can. Right when we thought we finished the best dish, we were presented with our desserts, Exotic Flower. It was a meringue dessert topped with vanilla cream, pineapple sorbet and passionfruit sauce. The presentation of this dish is art and we really enjoyed it. It was so good, we will probably come just for dessert on the regular! The atmosphere of the space is so cute, reminding us of our recent trip to France. The food was spectacular and the staff were so attentive and friendly! We definitely look forward to coming back for their regular menu. We are extremely excited to have found you!

during pandemic, Ordered takeout and all the food was cold. had to heat it up at home. Nobody on the phone told us it was cook your own. I had wanted to try this resto for a while as we love French food, but this was not a great experience. Will try again once they re-open as people really rave about it.
All I could say there are no words could express the food the atmosphere and the service,you must come by and experience it yourself.

I ate the daily fish dish and really enjoyed it. Charcuterie board is an excellent starter, as well as the pommes frites and scallops. You must get dessert when you eat here. The soufflé is fantastic. The eclair with pistachio cream and lemon tart with raspberries are also fantastic, available the day we went. Service is excellent.

It was ok for its price range. We had some vegetables did not very fresh. And it was raining, but the roof of the patio was leaking a lot of rain water. Ordered one appetizer and main, and the whit sauce tastes exactly the same. I feel that was a lazy way to prep food in a restaurant with this price range. The dessert was very good though.
