I ate the daily fish dish and really enjoyed it. Charcuterie board is an excellent starter, as well as the pommes frites and scallops.
You must get dessert when you eat here. The soufflé is fantastic. The eclair with pistachio cream and lemon tart with raspberries are also fantastic, available the day we went.
Service is excellent.

It was ok for its price range. We had some vegetables did not very fresh. And it was raining, but the roof of the patio was leaking a lot of rain water. Ordered one appetizer and main, and the whit sauce tastes exactly the same. I feel that was a lazy way to prep food in a restaurant with this price range. The dessert was very good though.

France inspired. Love the design, like stepping into a part of Europe. The food is prepared in a decadent french style, the bone marrow was particularly delicious. I also enjoyed the fact that they had french beers. Thanks for the conversation and experience Chef Pascal.

The best French food in Chinatown! Chef Pascal has created a very special and intimate culinary experience and we were fortunate to have found it. Service was personal. Food was absolutely Michelin quality. The sweetbreads were out of this world. The lamb was classic. The fresh catch was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. I’m not a food critic so all I will say is that if you’re reading this and are looking for a place for a special meal in the Toronto area, you can’t go wrong with Batifole. It’ll be one of the most memorable meals of your year.

Great experience! Nice touch from Chef owner. Wine service is lacking a bit needs some work. Spending $400 per couple you expect a little bit more. Food however was superb!

If you miss France you MUST try this authantic French Bistro ! Pascale, the chef is from Avignon! His food was excellent, staff was very professional & a very nice ambiance. Tomato Bisque , Risotto, pan fried scallops, beef tartar.....and a perfectly executed Souffle were all delicious as was the wine selection.

A delightful surprise! We just happened to be in the neighborhood and found this online. Everything is just right. They take their food seriously and offer a layered dining experience that you will appreciate. The server moves around swiftly but is attentive and very professional.

Had a very enjoyable meal here with my family. It was nice seeing the chef come out to explain the menu and the dishes as they were being served which made you feel welcomed at the restaurant.

All the dishes were prepared beautifully and tasted great such as the souffle. We especially liked the duck confit dish. We will definitely visit again in the future!
