We had a lovely lunch here on Friday. It's a nice space with an open kitchen. Our server was really good, soft spoken and pleasant. He was also the bar tender and made a wicked Caesar. The food was really tasty, fresh with lovely presentation. We watched the kitchen staff preparing their "Belgium fries" for the happy hour special. They looked delicious, that's for our next visit!

Reservation was made and confirmed for Saturday at 1pm. When we got there, the doors were locked and their posted hours said that they opened at 4pm.

Great food, the fondue is delectable, atmosphere. service etc, I would recommend, but the 20% post tax autogratuity on large parties is very annoying, the only negative element, it's a bizarre business model where you're penalized for bringing more business to the restaurant, and you're not even told about it beforehand. I've experience it at other places as well, and it's a real turn off, not a good idea for restaurants to do this.

Went there to celebrate my birthday with my husband. We both got the rack of lamb and it was to die for. Fall off the bone meat. I also got the Caesar salad which was tasty. Waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable . When I asked about a random cherry beer I remembered having in the past, she knew right away what I meant and and it wasn't on the menu but she got it for me. Also complementary cake and ice cream for my birthday which was nice.

Great for after work dining and beers. Overall I'd go back. They're frites and choice of beers was a highlight.

First time at Beer Bistro for lunch at noon. Everything was ok. A couple of things — my companion had to wait a long time for her beer because the keg was being changed, and there was no toilet paper in the stall I was in at the women's washroom. I've worked in the biz and I understand that things take a while to get going, but I expect a place that opens at 11:30 am to be up and running by 12.

Service was great and the reservation process was also smooth. The place has great beer options and the food was good too.

We made a reservation for a group gathering and we were offered the private dining room that fits 15 people. The private room is a perfect fit for corporate/friends/family gatherings with minimum $800 spending requirement. It offers a great private spit where you can enjoy friendly chat and delicious food and drinks.

The service is friendly and reliable and the menu offers great variety of shareable, handhelds and entrées.

Came here to watch the World Series final, but the TV kept turning off. Neither the servers nor the manager made any effort to fix the problem — they didn’t even seem to care. Customers ended up trying to connect their own phones to get the game working, but nothing worked.
On top of that, they were out of so many ingredients that there was barely anything left to order.
Really disappointing experience. Never coming back. Missed the whole game.

Would never come back service was terrible, waiter didn’t crack a smile once. Got a basket of soggy fries and a Luke warm beer for the crowd that attends this restaurant no need to have club music blasting at 5:30 on a Thursday. Wouldn’t recommend

The service and food was good in what you would expect in a downtown restaurant. My colleague was surprised that they didn't have his favourite beer(s) available given its name Beer Bistro.
