Came here on a weeknight so it wasn't super busy and the service was good. We had the pretzels + dip to start, and those were amazing! As for their Brie, Bacon + Truffle Burger, it was just okay. Felt like it had a few too many components and not enough flavour. Their Honey Gin Fizz cocktail was also just okay. Music was a little bit too loud for my liking but otherwise a good atmosphere. Overall a nice place but some flavours could be improved upon!

Staying nearby and popped in for a quick pint and bite before the Sceptres game. The room was maybe half full which was surprising for a Friday night. Blue bird sandwich was delicious. Service was great, priced fair. Would visit again

We went here for supper around 8pm. The restaurant was not overly busy. We ordered everything when the server finally came to see us after being seated for more than 10 minutes. We waited more than 30 minutes for our food to be delivered and when it finally came, it was delivered many minutes apart. One dish (chicken burger) was horrible- the bun was dried out and the chicken appeared to have been either left too long in the deep fryer or deep fried numerous times. When we asked for a replacement, they said no problem, but we waited another 20 minutes, with the server coming twice to say it would just be another minute and myself seeking out the server to ask if it was ready, for it to be delivered and at that point everyone else at the table had been finished for 10-15 minutes and my niece was no longer hungry and did not desire to eat with all of us staring at her, as we had a long drive home. We asked for a take out box and the bill essentially when the food came. The server returned with a box and the bill. We were charged the full price for the replacement. I have been to the Burlington Beertime many times and even at peak busyness, the food was high quality and the service excellent. I cannot say the same for the downtown Toronto location. Huge disappointment.

Great food, great service
Three problems:
1. 18 oz "pints"
2. No pitchers
3. Secondary entrance off university Ave, where you need to queue to see the hostess (might as well block off that door).
All in all not bad, but minor improvements would give a 5 star.

We were pleasantly greeted by the nice atmosphere. Of course, heading there for lunch during this season promises to be really busy. There were tons of other people there but we were seated relatively quickly (thanks Open Table).
Once seated, it took a while to get the initial round of drinks. We had waters all around then they took our orders.
The server was okay. He wasn't super helpful with making decisions about what to get. He didn't come to check on us after we got our food. He didn't ask if we wanted anything else or a water refill. That said, it was super busy.
The food was okay AT BEST. We had the turkey burger, fried chicken, big burger and one of the vegan salads. The vegan salad was great but the rest were not very good. The burger was bread heavy - way too much bread. The burger had a smash burger vibe but I couldn't appreciate it much because there was not enough sauce.
Suggestion:
- more burger sauce,
- choose better bread (brioche),
- fried chicken was a bit over and not moist
- the turkey burger was also bready

Three of us ate here for lunch. The overall feeling from all 3 of us was that the food is very very average. For example, the sesame buns were tasteless and fell apart. The fries just aren't good, seemed like they'd been overcooked and then sat out for a while. There was no potato to them, just greasy crunchy hard bits. We'd rather go somewhere else then to eat here again.

Food was great. The brie burger might be one of the better burgers Ive had in a while. Salads were fantastic. Not just typical bar food. The beer selection was amazing. The server was great but the kitchen forgot our Poutine. Would give five stars if it wasn't for that.

Made reservations weeks ago & was given a table right near the door (on a cool night, was not the greatest)
...had chimichurri chicken sandwich, bun was stale, fries cold, small piece of chicken, mostly bun, service was good, once we finally got it, 2nd time here, have to say the 1st time 2 years ago was a much better experience

Always a great time here⦠the food.. the atmosphere, the people! Hostess was great, our waiter was ok too. The food was amazing and even our friends who were there for the first timeā loved their food. It was our third time at this location. The menu here is smaller it seems, than the one in East Gwillimbury.. but great nonetheless!
