This place is a delightful gem! We enjoyed creamy mushroom risotto and a crispy pizza, paired with lovely red wine. The tiramisu was the cherry on top. Great service with the attentive owner ensuring we felt welcomed. It was heartwarming to revisit my childhood neighborhood, surrounded by the charm of Little Italy. A wonderful dining experience that's sure to linger in memory!

I have been to Bella Vista twice in the last few months and have meant to review. What an amazing place. The server we had both times (Sean/Shawn?) is so professional, personable and just plain fun. The food has been consistently excellent and is at a much better price point than some of the more sparkly places on College. I'm a fan of Carbonara and theirs is delicious. The bruschetta is also very good, but honestly, everyone was happy with all the different dishes we ordered. I'm surprised there's not a line up to get into this place. Do yourself a favour and try it out.

Fantastic service, great food and reasonably priced drinks! I’ve been here several times with a friend or in a large group and it has consistently been amazing!

Much better than the overpriced restaurants in the neighbourhood, Bella Vista is understated yet you are served as if you are a valued longtime customer!!! What more could you ask for on a night out in Toronto? You leave feeling happy, fulfilled and a little tipsy without breaking the bank ?

Not a big fan. I ordered from Uber eats and when my food arrived the first thing I noticed was the Cesar salad was warm and mushy. I could see past that but… it was the lettuce that had a weird chemical taste, and way too salty. I also ordered the Alfredo, that unexpected was very spicy and had a lot of spices all piled at the top that gave it an off putting texture. I would not order again :(

Wow - Booked a reservation through Bella Vista Site for dinner. Got confirmation but ...
When we got there it was closed. No notice as to why . . .
No answer on the phone.

This was last night, July 16th, 2024.

Restaurant owner should have removed booking or sent message to all reservations that restaurant was closed that evening.

Thank goodness lots of restaurants in the area and we ended up having dinner at another establishment.

So let me start by saying I didn't eat here. I was walking back from the college street festival with my friend at about 11.30pm. My friend wanted wings at a booth next to this restaurant and once she got them we saw there was nowhere to sit. We saw all the empty tables at Bella Vista and my friend asked if we could sit. They were almost closed but not quite. I'm sure they had been told to only let paying customers sit which is 100 percent understandable however the waitress to my surprise let us sit and we told her we would be quick. On top of that without us asking she brings us water and we were both shocked at how nice she was. The wings from the booth were so bad that I ordered ice cream and a cocktail to kill the taste. So while I didn't eat here I can say the service for potentially starting off as a non customer was excellent and because of that we will be back to eat :)
