Went to the place for my friend’s birthday.
The place is cozy and we were welcomed warmly and found good vegetarian options. I tried Risotto and pizza. The food was good for price.
Recommend people to check this place out.
Cheery on top was the dessert. An ice-cream like a truffle - custard inside and chocolate outside with outer rust sprinkled with cocoa powder. A must try.

My absolute fav Italian spot in Toronto 💛🍝

This is hands down my favorite Italian restaurant in the city. The food is consistently phenomenal—every dish feels like it was made with love. You can taste the quality and care in everything from the pasta to the drinks.

Pat, the owner, is so sweet and genuinely accommodating. He makes you feel like family every time you walk in, which is rare to find these days. The vibe is cozy, authentic, and welcoming—perfect for a romantic dinner, family night, or even a solo treat-yourself evening.

If you haven’t been yet, I highly recommend it. Bellavista is a gem in Toronto and I’ll keep coming back again and again. 🤍

My first time. Bella Vista has to be one of my favorite authentic Italian restaurant now. This operation has been opened for 23 years, run buy the father and now owned by the son Pat. He is very humble and friendly. The staffs are the sweetest. This is the venue for great service and authentic Italian cuisine. It makes you feel like you are in Italy.
I am pleasantly full, enjoyed my meal 100%, portions reasonable, price affordable and I highly recommend this establishment. I will be back to try more on the menu.

it wasnt great. they also cheaped out on the waiters. our waiters knew nothing about the menu, while the owners stayed inside doing nothing. idk maybe its just a front who cares, right? people in toronto are so dumb, they could get away with crap like this.

Food was ok but the service was awful. Also once I checked my bill at home I saw they overcharged me a glass of wine 👎🏼

Such a warm , beautiful and welcoming restaurant.. I had my daughter’s first communion there and the food was delicious 10/10 . The service was phenomenal, all of my family and friends were pleased, got plenty of compliments. Highly recommended.

This was our first time dining at this location, and we were all pleasantly impressed. The pricing was fair, the food quality was excellent and portion size very good. Staff was attentive and interacted with us at a very enjoyable level. Great surrounding and great experience. We will definitely be going back.

We had a delightful dinner here after a show, when we were glad to find a proper sit-down restaurant that was open late enough to get a table. Excellent prices, warm atmosphere, friendly staff! As an extra bonus, the prices are remarkably low — I’m not usually able to afford a martini with dinner, but very much enjoyed one here.

We celebrated my sister’s birthday here and were treated so well! Great service & food - loved our set menu!

Great food and great service.

It was Valentines day (yesterday) and my date and I had gotten there and they had given away our table because we were late (I called 10 mins prior saying we were going to be late due to the snow storm)so they seat us near the door and waited about half hour to be served drinks. They move our table because they propped the outside door open for some reason and everyone was cold. (We also ordered our food with the drinks)

An hour and a half goes by and everyone is being served around us and we still haven't even gotten our apps. Our server apologized saying the kitchen was overwhelmed.. but my date and I watched her punch our order in the screen after she apologized. We waited another 45 mins and still nothing so we left.

I don't know if they were discriminating us because we're 2 women, but it was the worst thing to do to someone on Valentines day after making reservations 2 weeks prior and driving 3 hours to get there because we're not from the area.
