I've tried this place 2 or 3 times because it's close by (I've only had their sweet baked goods so can't speak to drinks, bread or anything savoury), and I'm consistently underwhelmed. Items are pricey which would be fine if the quality was better. Tiramisu was noticeably dry and had kind of a stale texture. I think I'm going to give up!

$12.00 for a turkey sandwich...ummm I ordered it, it was not a $12.00 sandwich.
The bread (all varieties of sourdough) is outstanding. It’s a bit more expensive than Blackbird and not quite as large, but I count myself lucky to live close to somewhere that can produce reliably delicious sourdough. I don’t have much experience with the other products except the croissants and natas which are solid. I’m happy that they finally accept cash. I find the tip prompt when buying a loaf of bread with a card somewhat infuriating but I think it may be a result of the platforms and not the bakery.
Tried a pastel de nata from here because I had just tried them for the first time in Portugal and was missing them. These were great! Definitely hit the spot!

The croissant was perfect - soft and flaky at the same time
I went in to pick up a fresh-made sandwich. The server said that they don't make sandwiches 30 minutes before closing. I looked at my phone - it was exactly 5:30. In that moment I understood that the server had already cleaned her food prep area and was not going to tidy up again. I left empty-handed and I'm not going back.

Amazing bread!! I come from Spain where we eat bread every single day since we are kids and I have been struggling to find good bread here in Toronto. This bakery is an exception. If you are looking for the real thing this is your place.
*flowers are not included but get some and feel like in Paris during your morning walk

Had the tiramisu and an empanada, felt like it wasn't worth the price really, tasted okay but I've for sure had better of both. If the price wasn't so steep I could see myself going here after class again but there's better options around.

Tried a latte, almond croissant and a custard tart. The latte is surprisingly good! It’s strong enough for my taste! I bought the almond croissant at the 1 day old section but it was still very delicious. The custard tart also known as the Portuguese tart wasn’t good in my opinion, I have tried much better ones but if you never tried a custard tart, you will probably like this one. The Lady at he counter is pleasant. Will definitely come back for the latte!!

For only a couple dollars more than the average grocery store loaf nowadays, you can get a big, gorgeous, delicious, fresh loaf of sourdough here. Eating their sourdough has increased both my quality of life and my general consumption of carbohydrates. Suspiciously good bread. Sourdough is generally healthier than regular bread but this almost tastes too good to be true. I haven’t tried most of the other items here but the Portuguese custard tarts are also phenomenal.

Half decent pastries but prices are high (not to mention you’ll be asked to leave a tip for everything, including grabbing your own loaf of bread and bringing it up to the counter). Also, they recently cut pastry sizes by up to half and only lowered prices by about 50 -75 cents. I live nearby and I want to love this spot, but never feel like I’m getting my moneys worth!

My first time here. Pastry is good, but I found a hair inside the cookie. My lunch was ruined.

I got the chicken tikka empanada after my exam and it was generational. Probably the best thing I had eaten in weeks(make sure to get it heated). The pastel de Nata was cold and not the best but we're far enough from Portugal for it to be ok.
