The prices are good. Needs still a bit of work with service. Nice people go there. Nice owner's.

Have always loved the pizza and it has only gotten better since the new owners took over. Bellissimo's has been a long time affordable community favorite and a great place to go that's not a predictable chain. Some of the staff have been there for decades and the tradition goes on! Do also try the pasta.
Great prices. Friendly staff. Newly renovated bar with a great patio for the summer. Best tasting burgers in the area ?
I live in the neighborhood and have been going to Bellisimo's for over 20 years. It has, in the past, maintained high quality pizza at a reasonable price. I have heard that ownership has changed recently. Yesterday I was charged nearly $20 for a pickup pizza with three toppings that not long ago would have been about $14. This is a massive and what I view as an unreasonable increase in a short period of time. Very disappointed. It's no longer on our short-list.
Belissimos is a friendly neighbourhood restaurant. The food is readably priced and tastes good!In terms of accessibility for persons with physical disabilities, the restaurant is not fully accessible. Entrance to patio, front and side door is “partially” accessible but is “doable” for wheelchairs, particularly power wheelchairs. The ramp is steep and there is a slight bumped ramp at the far entrance and to get from the patio to restaurant at the main entrance. The seating on the patio and restaurant is accessible but the washrooms are “not” wheelchair accessible.
Pizza is sub par. I will never come back here.

For a city on the sea Halifax has surprisingly few venues where you can get anchovies on a pizza. I went here on a recent trip to Toronto and they had anchovies! My GF, her son, and I ordered pizza, a little one for him, and half with anchovies. It was excellent. Did I mention I like anchovies?
We just picked this place at random. ( close to Holiday Inn Express ) and where pleasantly surprised. Nice atmosphere and the pizza was fantastic. Great service as well. limited parking out front.
it is what it is.
We found this hidden gem on a walk back to our hotel from the Distillery District. We were looking for a quick bite when some locals hailed us over. They sang the praises of this local favorite and they did not exaggerate! The staff were helpful as we created our own pizza from the toppings on the menu. We ate in but there is an option to take out. The pizzas were very reasonably priced and ours was one of the best we’ve eaten. The tables and chairs were comfortable and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. It’s a great place for families and travelers on a budget. I hope you find this great place.
A neighbourhood bar restaurant boasting a fantastic menu of Italian classics in a laid back setting. We stopped by on a warm Sunday evening and were welcomed with open arms by the gracious staff. There was a genuinely welcoming atmosphere to the place with other patrons letting on and making small talk about anything and nothing or the world's strongest man contest on the TV. The food was tasty and filling. I'd recommend Bellissimo to anyone and everyone who's in the area.
