Quaint atmosphere food is subpar has a home cooked feel to it makes for a great date night spot very lowkey and romantic like. There is 2 levels to dine and the price fix menu is unheard of in this economy but one server I did feel bad for them but handled everything elegantly !

Ummm⊠WOW?! I thought the other reviews were hyping this place up extra but theyâre worth every star. My friends and I got the 3-course dinner menu. We tried the eggplant sliders - WOW. Even if you donât like eggplants, youâll love it because it tastes nothing like it. We also had the truffle fries and the cantina salad, and they were so good. Huge portion too. We had the ravioli and bolognese for course two - both 10/10. Flavors like none other. Iâm not kidding. We had the tiramisu for dessert and as a tiramisu lover, this is probably the only thing that slightly disappointed me⊠it wasnât bad but it just didnât hit like a good old tiramisu. It was more of a cake and I think it was the cream that threw me off.
Either way, fantastic food. And Sofia - probably the most incredible waitress ever. She made the experience a whole lot better.
I will be back! Gonna post a whole reel about this experience.

From innovative cocktails to appetizers to mains and dessert, Bellona Restaurant on Jane Street provided us with a symphony of flavours! The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, and we loved everything we tried.
The staff was attentive, ensuring everything was perfect without being overbearing. Their attention to detail made us feel like a VIP! Our server, Sofia, went above and beyond, accommodating every request with a smile. They ensured we had everything we needed and made the evening special.

The night before, I was researching restaurants on Google and noticed a spot with an incredible 4.9/5 rating right near the trail: Bellona Jane. Even better, itâs a vegan/vegetarian restaurant. Since Iâve been craving good vegan food ever since my friend closed his place, this was an easy choice. A few clicks later, I had a table reserved for 12:30 pm.
We wrapped up our ride around 11:45 and, not wanting to wait, I called the restaurant. The owner picked up, happily moved our reservation to noon, and we were set.
When we arrived, we were the first ones there. Our table was ready with a jug of water in the center, and we were warmly greeted and seated by the owner/chef, Johnnie. Heâs a great guy - friendly, patient, and happy to answer all our questions (including a couple of special requests for my sliders).
The menu looked too tempting to hold back, so we ordered a feast for lunch: Carciofi Fritti, all three types of sliders (two Portobello, eggplant, and âmestballâ), Plant-Inspired Caesar, Pappardelle Bolognese, Sofia Pizza, Chocolate Chip Brownie, and Apple Fritters. We also tried the mango and pineapple Italian sodas, which were a huge hit.
Food highlights:
1. Eggplant Sliders: The focaccia bread, lightly drizzled with olive oil, was fantastic. The fresh tomato sauce in the eggplant sliders was outstanding and fresh.
2. Carciofi Fritti: My kids were hesitant about the mini artichoke hearts, but once they tried them, they couldnât stop.
3. Plant-Inspired Caesar: According to my kids, this was the best Caesar salad theyâve ever had. Enough said.
4. Pappardelle Bolognese: Fresh, flavorful sauce paired perfectly with the soft, refreshing noodles. The kids especially loved this one.
5. Apple Fritters: Warm fritters dusted with cinnamon, topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle. Definitely an indulgent, delicious finish.

We were a group of six and ordered a mix of vegan pastas and pizzas to share, and every dish was a win. The flavours were complex and layered, the textures balanced, and you can tell the menu was crafted with real care and thought. Portions were much larger than we expected for this type of spot, and the ambiance matched the food beautifully. Staff were warm and accommodating, which made the whole evening even better. A solid 10/10 and highly recommend it - a must visit for sure.
