I had lunch at Benares today and ordered paneer tikka, vegetable samosa, shahi paneer, and assorted breads. The meal was enjoyable, and I would recommend visiting this restaurant.

This is one of our favorite places for Indian in Toronto. Our regular place for a pregame meal and special occasions. The food is always Fresh and Delicious. The place has a soothing, comfortable ambience and always a relaxed feeling. Never rushed. Their Malai tikka, Butter chicken, Coconut curry,Mattar panir and Daal Makhni with Garlic Naan and rice my regular picks we share. Staff is courteous and always give great service.Vegetarian options: Mattar Panir, Shahi Panir, Daal Makhni, Bharta

I recently visited this restaurant with high hopes, only to be sorely disappointed. In fact, it's not an overstatement to say that this place is the epitome of culinary disappointment. Let's start with the food. I ordered their supposedly famous shahi paneer, expecting a burst of flavors and rich textures. Instead, what arrived at my table was a sad excuse for a dish. The shahi paneer was bland, lacking any discernible spices or depth of flavor. Disappointed but hopeful for some redemption, I decided to provide feedback to the staff, hoping they would rectify the situation. However, my hopes were quickly dashed when an employee, who was apparently pretending to be a manager, approached me. Not only did they fail to acknowledge my concerns adequately, but they also displayed a remarkable lack of professionalism. To add insult to injury, instead of offering a sincere apology or attempting to make amends, I insisted on replacing the shahi paneer with their dal makhani.Thinking that perhaps this dish would salvage my dining experience, I reluctantly accepted the offer. Alas, my hopes were once again crushed as the dal makhani turned out to be equally disappointing, if not worse. Not only was it stale and unappetizing, but it also left a lingering aftertaste that I would rather forget. It was evident that the food here lacked freshness and quality, two essential elements that any reputable restaurant should prioritize. To make matters worse, the employee posing as a manager displayed a shocking lack of customer service skills. Their demeanor was rude and dismissive, as if my feedback was inconsequential. It's disheartening to encounter such unprofessional behavior, especially in an industry where customer satisfaction should be paramount. In conclusion, my experience at this restaurant was nothing short of a nightmare. From the lackluster food to the abysmal customer service, there is little to recommend about this establishment. Save yourself the disappointment and steer clear of this place. With so many other dining options available, there's no reason to subject yourself to such a subpar experience.

What a disaster experience I had here.. i went here with my friends to celebrate her birthday and the food they served was not at all worth it.. we ordered dal makhni and that’s was the worst dal makhni i ever had in my entire life.. ..I would never recommend this place to anyone..there was a staff member pretending to be manager of that place but I don’t this she was the manager.. she doesn’t know how to attend customers. There are many options out there in Toronto .You would definitely get better food there..

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant .I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews, but I was sorely disappointed. The portion sizes were tiny, and the food lacked flavor. We ask for replacement again we disapppointed . Then we try to communicate with manager but there was staff member , she was pretanding as a manger but she has zero customer skill. Instead of rectifying the situation she was naking it worst by arguing with us .It felt like they were cutting corners to save costs. Overrated. "I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Strictly average food. Fairly priced or not. Will recommend to avoid red meat as it was not well cooked. Only highlight was the Chicken Tikka for which and their service I gave 3 stars.Even the Gulab Jamun had to be reminded to be served hot.All in all, average place for Indian cuisine.

#ZeroStarsI go out a lot and order in often. What a poor experience. My first and only time eating at this restaurant. Ordered Uber Eats and the 2 for 1 is a scam, selling mediocre food at best with small portions and poor quality.*Chicken Tikka Masala (2 for 1). Hardly any chicken and tiny pieces in 2 portions. Watery with oil on top. Just awful*Daal (2 for 1): Tasteless. Again watery with oil on top. Sad.*Garlic Naan (Ordered 6 in total as 2 for 1) Each Naan was just a bit bigger than my hand. They are selling like half size pretending it to be full size.*Roti (1). Was ok.*Onions, Green Chilies & Lemon: Very small container for the price..Save you money and try other Indian restaurants in the city that provide great quality food and serviceJust #FAIL
