We visited by chance when passing by on our way back to our hotel from AGO. The service was fine, prompt and friendly and the sushi was ok. Not spectacular though inexpensive (by UK standards) and there was plenty of it. Good vegetarian selection. Not the best sushi in Toronto I'm sure though edible and reasonable value.
The food is freshly prepared and the servings are generous and good value for money although they are very fond of deep fried options. It is a small location with few tables and no one is encouraged to linger. The service does leave a little to be desired.
We passed by Sushi & Bento on the way to the St Patrick subway station on Dundas to catch the Rogers Cup (ATP tennis) at the Aviva Center. After spending a tiring 6 hours watching the tennis matches, we decided to pick up takeout on the way home. Ordered a couple of the teriyaki chicken bento boxes at $12.95 each.
