Cozy place in the neighborhood. My husband and I shared a bagel, and I really liked my latte. We sat outside since the weather is good today. Not sure if he is the owner, but the person who took our order and made the coffee was very nice.
Tried Berkeley Cafe for the first time last month after noticing a line out the door—and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Even with the crowd, the service was impressively quick and the food hit the spot. The chopped cheese sandwich is a must-try. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the cozy, welcoming decor makes it a spot I’m already looking forward to visiting again. I might just find myself heading into the office more often for another excuse to stop by.
Best sandwich I’ve ever had.. thought it was a little expensive at first but it is huge and so delicious. Iced latte was also great. Cashier is lovely. Very unassuming and cozy vibe inside. Love it
I absolutely loved this café! From the moment I walked in, the cozy and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were super friendly and attentive — the service was genuinely great. The food was perfect: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite was delicious, and you can really tell they care about quality. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing spot to unwind or a place to enjoy a great meal, I highly recommend this café. I’ll definitely be coming back😍
Burnt espresso. Said they make a nice cold brew then pull out a grocery store cold brew bottle. Grocery bagels. They seem nice but you would be wasting your money on bad coffee.
Great coffee, tasty food, and a warm, welcoming vibe. A perfect local spot—definitely worth a visit!
Good prices, good prices. Would love if sandwich will be grilled next time.
I’ve stopped by a few times for both breakfast and lunch, and the sandwiches have always been fresh and tasty. The staff are genuinely friendly, and the service is consistently good. The space has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes it a nice spot to sit for a bit or grab something to go. Definitely a solid local option if you’re in the area!
I’ve been craving a good Chopped Cheese sandwich since my trip to New York last year and let me tell you, Berkeley Cafe does not disappoint. For those of you who haven’t tried it, next time you’re craving a Big Mac, don’t go to McDonalds, come here. Also for those bagel lovers out there- they have wonderful bagels for breakfast- they’re simple and delicious. Service is wonderful here and I greatly enjoyed the outdoor patio that was clean and surrounded by trees. Can’t wait to go back!
Sandwiches slapped, absolute gem of a place!

Sean is a gem and the Philly cheesesteak has the most tender meat compared to a lot of them in Toronto these days. He’s put a lot of care into his cafe and it shows

Local neighborhood spot that has the best made to order sandwiches in the city. During peak lunch hours you may need wait...but all the good sandwiches places are like that.
If you're in the St. Lawrence area...please spot by and give them love. You won't regret it.
