Berkeley Café is one of those rare spots that just gets everything right — the food, the vibe, the people. I stopped by for a bite and ended up staying longer than planned because the place just feels good. The sandwiches are top-tier (seriously, the kind that make you stop mid-bite), and the coffee’s rich and smooth without being overdone.

Unlike some sandwiches that skimp on greens, this one had plenty of fresh, crisp lettuce—just like in the photo. I also really enjoyed the bold flavor of the pickles, and the bread was soft and easy to eat, not dry at all.
