I tried the ham and cheese sandwich. At around $14 including tax, it felt a bit pricey at first, but it was packed with fillings and absolutely satisfying.

Unlike some sandwiches that skimp on greens, this one had plenty of fresh, crisp lettuce—just like in the photo. I also really enjoyed the bold flavor of the pickles, and the bread was soft and easy to eat, not dry at all.
My office always order breakfast croissants and pastries from here. Freshly made and tasty. Shawn, the owner, is very kind. We always feel welcomed here!

Berkeley Café is one of those rare spots that just gets everything right — the food, the vibe, the people. I stopped by for a bite and ended up staying longer than planned because the place just feels good.
