2.5/5
The food was disappointing tbh. I had the beef tartare, and it was decent without the potato. The potatoes really took away the flavour of the tartare
The special was a house cut meat with biscuit that was alright, but nothing mind blowing, I would def skip it
And for the main, the chicken - it was pretty flavourful, but also not the best chicken I’ve had. The fries were pretty good though
The place is really cute and the serves were super nice and explained the dishes a bit more, since the menu wasn’t as straightforward

Absolutely delicious. We had the whole chicken, half and half fries and potatoes, and the flourless chocolate cake. Every bit was incredible! The garlic aioli on the potatoes will live rent-free in my mind for the foreseeable future.

Great experience at this restaurant. We had the tasting menu and it was very good with a good amount of food. The salad is very good though I would suggest they could cut the lettuce leaves in 2 to have an easier time eating it. This is the winter tasting menu.

Veggies are the star of the show. I’m a repeat customer time and time again.
I was travelling for work and ate by myself on a Saturday evening. Ate at the bar - I’ve been here before and the chicken is amazing, staff super friendly and atmosphere was cosy. Nice local restaurant for anyone visiting Toronto with friends or without!

The best damn chicken. Period.
(I don't even like chicken).
One of Toronto's best, most unique restaurants. Great ingredients, excellent specials, good wine list and cocktails. Easily a top 5 restaurant in Toronto.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and every dish was full of flavour. We ordered the leeks ( no picture) , the famous chicken (half portion) with the greenies (also half portion), and it was the perfect amount for two people absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and attentive without ever feeling rushed, and you can really feel the care the team puts into the food and the overall experience.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy spot in Toronto with amazing food and great vibes!

Went for a birthday of a dear friend. Service was warm and personable. Started with the Beef Tartare, Leek Mussels, and Squash. All were incredibly delicious and complimentary each other very well. We ordered the whole chicken for the main and was a perfect amount of food for four hungry young people. Soft Serve for dessert was a delicious surprise as I’m sure you know I’m not really an ice cream fan. Definitely on the pricier side but 100% worth it for what you’re getting. Will be returning as soon as I can!

One of the best dining experiences in the city. The food was absolutely divine. Plate after plate the flavour was just spectacular. The service was also incredible. I would definitely come back. The deviled eggs were phenomenal. I really enjoyed the whipped ricotta and sourdough as well. The leek and mussel dish was also very unique and flavourful. The rotisserie chicken and fries were also very very good. I think my fav dish of the night was the tuna tartare with latkes. Such a cool flavour.

came here for our anniversary and the food was so amazing. every dish exceeded our expectations, but we were pretty disappointed with the service. It took over 20 minutes for someone to even come to our table and ask if we would like drinks, which took another 20 minutes to get. We also had to wave down a server to even order our food. Will come back for the food, but definitely could have service improvement.

the food was excellent, the service was excellent, the seating arrangements are not.
It is very, very tight. I've been to many Toronto restaurants, so I know this is kind of the norm, but I was sitting in a chair and basically nobody could walk behind me because it's so tight to the bar stools behind.
All in all, I'd go back and just hope for a better seat, cause I was super aware of people walking past and always trying to adjust to make space for them!
The food is delicious, the only item we didn't love were the potatoes, they were overcooked. The server was excellent.
