We sat for almost 20min before a waitress noticed us. We sat for over an hour before any food arrived. The restaurant was not busy and there were several staff. Very disappointing. Would not go back.

Our server was amazing! She was very accommodating and sweet. The lamb bolognaise was delicious: well seasoned, tart and filling. The pizza was okay. One person in our party had eggplant parm and got Alfredo pasta instead of pomodoro and the pasta was a bit bland, needed salt. I would go back though.

We are regulars at the Pie Bar and have always loved the patio and the food. Their pizzas and pasta have traditionally been excellent, although could do with more options. Our biggest disappointment last night was that both our pasta choices (the ragu and lamb bolognese) were not available. That's the second time we've had that disappointment, yet we dined early, so we suspect they are trying to save money vs having oversold, which is not good when paying about the same price for most options. The cocktails are a bit pricey and the wine choices are not the best. However, we really enjoyed our server, Tammy, who was attentive, apologetic and very good.

Pie Bar is one of my favourite spots to visit when I am in the city. The food never disappoints and the atmosphere is very nice. Staff are friendly and the place is very clean. Definitely a must visit if you are looking for a new place to eat.

I come here often and this was my first bad experience. Was told that they weren't able to serve pizza til 3pm but we saw other people being able to order pizza while we were dining and when we were leaving. Sat on the patio and the server moved our umbrella for another table without even asking us, leaving us in the hot sun. Server barely came by and we had to wait for 20 minutes to get our bill.

We went here for lunch with my coworker and had the parm fries and pizza. The food was delicious! Our server was attentive and we had a great spot on the patio, where we can see people going on the ferry for sightseeing. Great place for enjoying good weather and eating tasty food! We will be back again soon!

I've never been here before, but my experience here was such a treat. Firstly, the host was friendly and quick to seat my friend and I. We decided to sit indoor since it looked like it would've rained. We were still seated by the window, so that we could still see the water. Our server came quick too to introduce herself and give us menus. Ordering our drinks and food went smoothly with no problems at all and I'd say it took no more than 25 minutes for everything to come out. I got the Tartufo pizza and raspberry limoncello spritz, and both were absolutely delicious. I'd definitely recommend both to anyone. After our food, we got dessert. My friend got a latte and I ordered a tiramisu. My cake came within 10 minutes, but there was no latte for my friend. We thought our server forgot about the latte. About five minutes after I finished the tiramisu, she got it. We weren't mad or anything, just confused since she was an amazing server till then. Mistakes happen too. When it came to pay the bill, turns out she did forget and ended up taking the latte off the bill for us! Which is sweet and honestly wasn't necessary at all. I wish I remembered her name since she was great, attentive and friendly, but sadly I can't. Overall, I'll definitely be back here!

the view was very nice as it was near the waters and we really liked that the resturaunt offered us water bowls for our doggos. what i will say is that i wish our server came to check up on us more. also, food took 30+ minutes to come out. within the hour and a half we were dining on the patio, the server came up to us (i believe) three times. not sure if she was new or if she was stressed by how many tables she was taking care of but we had to ask her twice about the things we wanted. we still had a good time as ive def experienced worse so its not the end of the world but once again, just wish we were checked up on more and didnt have to repeat ourselves for the food, we were very surprised by how the chicken alfredo & lobster ravioli tasted! we actually really liked it and the prices were super fair. overall, id still give this place another try as its one of the prettier dog friendly patios :) 7/10 experience

Upon arriving for our reservation, on time, we were told we would need to wait another 5 minutes - surprising, to say the least, because the restaurant was essentially empty. We were shown to our table and a waiter greeted us fairly quickly. My wife and I ordered cocktails and our dinner - consisting of their monster mozzarella stick (about 12" long) and a plain pizza. Our drinks didn't show up for 10-15 minutes. They weren't complicated and were not special - just what was shown on the menu without any changes. After another 45 minutes, both our appetizer (the mozzarella stick) and our main (the pizza) were brough out. Both were cold. Because we were hungry, we decided to eat the appetizer and send the pizza back. However, it was at least 20 minutes before the waiter bothered to come back and check on things. He didn't even refill our water. I had assumed that the pizza would be re-made fresh. Instead, the pizza was placed back in the oven and burned to a crisp and then brough to our table with a smile. By this point, my wife and I were fed up, choked down one slice each, and promptly paid our bill and left. DO NOT GO HERE.

We booked a office event for 20 people. We were forced to do one bill with 18% gratuity. We managed with that but then the service was really bad. We were seated at 12 and placed order by 12:15, but dishes didn't get to some folks as late as 1:30. One dish seemed to have been swapped with another person so when the waiter realized it he pulled it out of the first person's hand (he was literally about to put into his mouth). It was a pizza and the first person had already cut the pizza and touched it with his hands but the waiter took it from him and gave it to the other person on the table. I felt since we were forced a 18% gratuity, the restaurant was no longer inclined to provide us with a good service. Will not be hosting another event at this place.

We had a beautiful outside dining spot, with a direct view of the harbor. The staff members were attentive to our requests and offered friendly suggestions when asked. We enjoyed a fresh Caesar salad with a delicious “Godfather” pizza.

Wonderful ambience with great food ! The only disappointment was that it wasn't indicated in the app the we needed request separately for a Patio table ; and even when there were quite a few vacant tables on the Patio, we were seated indoors. However, overall a great experience!

Good pizza. One of the better local spots. I love the godfather and prosciutto with arugula pies. It would be nice to have more variety in soft drinks, like Coke Zero. Decent wine options.

The hostess couldn't find our reservation then finally brought us outside, left us beside a table and told us not to sit down, she then came back and brought us to another table on the lower patio. Server asked us if we wanted water before we had even sat down, came right back with the water but didn't even stop as he dropped it off, he then didn't return for over 20 minutes while taking orders for tables that arrived after us. We ended up leaving. The table next to us had similar issues. Wouldn't go back even though the location is great the service makes it a hard pass.

We had an excellent meal at Pie Bar recently. Our party enjoyed pizzas (pepperoni, pesto chicken - both delicious) and started with a caesar salad & starter fries. Service was excellent throughout. We will certainly be back.
