Had an amazing anniversary dinner! Reception and waitresses were incredibly kind, and the steak frites were fantastic for a reasonable price. Will be coming back!

We celebrated my birthday on New Year’s Eve at Biff’s Bistro and had a fantastic experience.

The NYE prix fixe was excellent for the variety offered. We ordered the steak tartare and scallops to start, added escargot, followed by bœuf bourguignon and cod, and finished with cheesecake and crème brûlée — every dish was well executed, classic French bistro cooking, and perfectly paced.

Service was warm, professional, and attentive without feeling rushed, which is especially impressive on such a busy night.

A classy, relaxed way to ring in the New Year and celebrate a birthday. We’ll absolutely be back.

Went to Biffs on a Saturday night during the Christmas holiday season. At this time a year I recommend a reservation as it’s popular (and fabulous) so that way you won’t be disappointed.

Firstly the atmosphere is amazing.

Menu-top notch (the fixed price steak meal was exceptional value). All food was beautifully presented, flavourful and portion size to quality is well matched.

Service was brilliant. Personal and the right amount of attention. The hostess and manager also popped round to chat with guest to make sure experience was what you hoped for.

Truly a great spot! Located in fabulous spot in the city with lots to do before /after your meal.

Thank you to Mr Al who made our family gathering so welcoming, he definitely got the definition down pat of what *hospitality* is. We had a hard-of-hearing aunty who read lips, so in conveying that to Al, he was able to help us navigate what we needed - he made our holiday gathering that much more meaningful. I always bring family here when they come to town, they know how to take care of everyone.

We visited here a few weeks ago for a date night and really enjoyed our experience. The restaurant is lovely, and the service was great. The menu itself was classic French fair and though portions aren’t huge, we thought the food was great.

Had to give the 24hr rule on this. Great atmosphere, great (consistent) food and drinks - and service.

A hidden gem in downtown toronto , for a business lunch dinner or a romantic get away . As taste of french cuisine a feeling of a euro environment.

Booked weeks in advance for dinner with friends. Arrived to see they squeezed 5 of us around a table for four. Not the best start. Restaurant was packed and noisy. Menu was good and food was tasty. Several of us opted for the pre fixe option which was a great price and portions were good size. Food was well prepared and arrived quickly. Service was good. Half price drinks before six on some nights (check the web site). Will not go as a group again.

Food is amazing - we ordered beef tartare and Atlantic salmon. Everything was cooked perfectly and super tasty. We would definitely visit again.

Stalwart in the downtown core. Solid food (though nothing earth shattering), very good service, very lively room. Recommended for a simple French(ish) meal, especially if you're seeing a show at Meridian Hall (directly across the street).

I had a wonderful experience and even better service. As a Muslim who cannot consume alcohol or pork, the waiter helped me to choose the appropriate food from the menu and even went above to ask the chef if they can prepare the dish that had the lobster without alcohol. Such considerate and wonderful service. Will surely come again. 👌
