What a terrible experience. First of all, the weather was awful—pouring rain and windy as can be—but that was nothing compared to the service I received. The girl behind the counter was moving at a snail’s pace, literally in slow motion. She even stopped to watch YouTube while I waited. It took her 15 minutes to make three tacos—everything was already cooked, all she needed to do was assemble them. And mind you, there were no other customers in the place, just me.
To top it off, they had the nerve to charge me $1 for a paper bag after the fact—and then they taxed the bag! Absolutely ridiculous. I’ll never be coming back here. Completely unprofessional and a waste of time.

They use the same gloves to prepare the food and also handle payments (cash and card). We asked them to switch gloves and they seemed very dismissive of it, and instead they put a bag over their glove to handle our food.

They don't care about instructions. I've ordered from here many times and I always request no onions and no cilantro because I can't eat them. But they keep adding them every time. When you pick up your order, make sure to double-check it before leaving.
I’m constantly facing the same issue with them and I’m tired of it. The staff either needs to be changed or properly trained to follow instructions clearly. This time I ordered through Uber Eats and even though I wrote the note clearly, the same thing happened again.

Birria Catrina is a solid spot for a good meal at a reasonable price. The service was friendly, especially from the male staff member at the counter, who was very kind. The birria tacos were tasty, with well-cooked meat and a dipping broth that, while mild in flavor, was a nice addition. I did ask for no onions but still got them, which was a bit disappointing. However, the food had a homemade feel, and the tacos—though messy—were well-prepared and delicious. I’ll definitely be back… and I’ll remind them about the no onions!
These tacos have been bomb for the last 2 years I’ve been eating them….looks like there are new cooks I rate the tacos 2/10 sloppy stuck together and not crispy at all after I asked for them extra crispy…

I have been buying here for a long time in all your locations, I am a good customer of yours, and I was very satisfied with all my orders but I stopped buying for a long time because the last time I ordered through Uber Eats the meat and the consommé did not taste like nothing!! Literally, the consommé was pure water and the meat was very tasteless, it wasn't birria, I tried to call the phone number they have but it doesn't even ring, and today I ordered a package again and they forgot to put the consommé in!! And a taco of birria without consommé doesn't taste the same, right? . This is constructive criticism since I feel that they have very good birria but they should not lower their standards or check that their staff follows the recipe.
