Great spot to enjoy coffee/tea. Lovely
Atmosphere. Server was pleasant and the pastries & sandwiches looked super yummy. Will return to check out the DJ spinning tunes. Nice to have a spot this quaint and lovely in the community.

What a great cafe in otherwise franchise-invaded Toronto. If you have been to France you will appreciate the authenticity.

They make all the typical pastries fresh and offer quiche, sandwiches, croque-monsieur, etc. and bags with amazing French style cookies.

Totally worth the visit!! Will be back.

We need to talk about how much of a hidden gem Bisou Toronto is. It’s one of those spots that just feels right the second you walk in. I love coming here for a solo coffee and book moment, but it’s just as great for catching up with a friend. The music is always funky but subtle, never overpowering, just a really good vibe in the background. The coffee and food are honestly so good. I’m already thinking about coming back in the evening for a drink and a snack. I noticed the turntables too, which makes me wonder if they ever bring in DJs. Such a cool place.

Checked this cafe out one day and now I go there weekly. Their pastries are so well made, and their coffee is one of the best in the area. The staff are very accommodating and friendly as well. Bisou cafe is truly a gem!

Specifically because they don't take Amex. Can't transact there again

We walked in, were seated, ordered coffee, and started drinking it normally.
About 5–6 minutes later, while we were already enjoying our coffee, staff suddenly decided that we needed to be moved to another table.

There was no clear explanation, no apology, and the approach was rude and dismissive. It felt like we were being evaluated purely on how much money we were going to spend, not as paying customers who had already ordered.

Being asked to change tables after you’ve already settled in and started your drink is extremely uncomfortable. We were made to feel rushed, unwelcome, and frankly embarrassed — as if sitting there with coffee was somehow a problem.

This is not how hospitality works.
If a café only wants customers who order food or spend a certain amount, that should be clearly stated upfront. Don’t seat people, take their order, and then decide minutes later that they’re not “worth” the table.

The whole experience was handled poorly and left a very bad impression.
There are countless cafés in Toronto where customers are treated with basic respect — unfortunately, this is not one of them.

Would not return, and would not recommend this place to anyone who expects normal, respectful service.

Phenomenal croissants and sandwiches, and sublime coffee (the Americano is top-notch). A wonderful ambiance for sitting with a book, having a date or conversation with a friend, or doing some work on your laptop. Fantastic wine selection as well.

A little hidden oasis in somewhat of a rough patch of the city. Great for cosy dates as well as quiet moments with a book or a laptop. They offer good quality selection of coffee and tea. I liked their choice of music which enhances the overall classy atmosphere. The food and pastry, as well as the service never disappointed us. Warmer months on their patio are equally enjoyable as their indoor environment. Word of caution - you won't like it if you dislike the scent of freshly baked butter-based delicacies.
