Great dive love the cut throat attitude but honestly use 3/4 less the amount salt in every item on the menu, I feel like Im going into cardiac arrest after a few bites of fries let alone the nachos and everything else… seriously ill come back for bear but the salt meals just wreck the stomach lining… not okay

Honestly usually love coming here but had the absolute worst experience coming here last time. Everyone that works here was so exceptionally rude, especially the lady with dark hair and in the dark sweater. Literally will never come back here again it was so horrible, messed up the bill and tried to blame us to pay $40 more.

bistro is bestro. pitchers of long Island, ice cold moosehead bottles, and 18+ photo hunt games on megatouch. if you can't have fun with your friends in this atmosphere... ya ya ya. on some real talk though the prices are wicked reasonable, there's a back patio and nobody is acting like an overpriced clown. great souvenir t-shirts when in stock as well!

It’s a dive bar. It’s very well priced. The food isn’t deserving of a Michelin star, but it’ll hit the spot when you’re out for a drink and don’t want to spend too much. My friends and I always have a great time here. The poutine is my favourite- no cheese curds, but still delicious!

It’s a cheap nice bistro and bar. My friend and I love it. They always have the TV on, music playing and a nice atmosphere in general. The prices for drinks are extraordinary in Toronto. You can get here everything from Bloody Mary, Gin Tonic and Long Island Icetea. Maithai was the best so far.

I usually really love this place, been coming here for years with friends. My experience last night was severely soured by the waitress working. We came in about midnight, the first thing we asked was if the heated patio was open, she replied in an annoyed tone "Um not really." even though their sign out front had said otherwise. Cool, that was no problem. We had a couple drinks before coming in and one of my friends didnt realize he was still holding a can. She came up behind him and yanked it out of his hand so hard that is splashed all over him and proceeded to berate him for taking time to find his ID. "So you can walk in with outside drinks but you cant find your ID? Of course." Mind you she served us anyways so clearly she just felt like being incredibly rude. She then proceeded to tell us in the most unpleasent tone, "Look guys the kitchen has BEEN closed, so theres absolutely no food" Again, not a problem, but I dont know who she thought she was speaking to us like that. At the time the bar was empty, she made it seem like us coming in was the bain of her existence. She had such a terrible attitude with us the whole time we were there, but we still treated her with smiles and thank yous and kindness. She came up to us like 30 mins before close asking to pay our tabs because "She doesnt get paid to serve us in the next 15 mins." Her attitude was appalling, I was so disappointed with how we were treated and rushed out the door after telling my friends how great Bistro was gonna be. Unfortunately, we will not be returning after this incident.

This is hands down, the best, if not the greatest bar of all time. The back patio is a dope AF hidden jewel and if you drink enough you can climb the tree and scale the buildings in the back. Then you're like Spiderman, but Spiderdrunk.

The waitress working last night was extremely rude. I got there waaaaay after my brother and his friends and she was rude to me instantly. I was very sober and nice to her. I understand she was frustrated because my brother was being loud, but she should have used her Smart Serve training better and refused to serve him. Especially because he was already drunk when he got there. Someone should take her Smart Serve away because what she did is illegal. Funny because the gentleman working with her didn't say anything. It was just her and her attitude telling us to pay, but she didn't kick us out. Good luck to her with future customers!
