The restaurant is big and quiet. The service is an average and the price is quite expensive in this location. The decoration is wear and tear and needs renovation.
I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo. Too greasy and too oily. The fettuccine sank into the butter oil.

Came here for my sons delayed graduation and it was fabulous! The pasta is definitely the best thing to order as it’s made in-house. The ravioli and gnocchi is some of Toronto’s best. The pizza is good as well. They nail their desserts!

I went for lunch with my family on a Sunday it was truly delicious! So good and portion sizes very good value for money. Loved it!
Excellent restaurant with great service.
Excellent food and service every time
The place is really showing wear and tear. Walls need paint, floor tiles are lose and torn, some of the benches feature DUCT TAPE.
It needs a renovation.

The worst gnocchi and cannelloni I ever encountered. Overcooked 5 times over drowned in cream had no resemblance to neither gnocchi nor cannelloni … cannelloni came in a baking dish, fully submerged under cheese creamy substance. They were cannelloni in the name only - it was more like lasagna consisting of some pieces of ricotta and occasional pieces of pasta - overcooked on the top and not sufficiently cooked at the bottom. Basically if you really really have to eat in Bistro Grande, ordering salad with a dressing on a side is a safer option…

We dined here late and they informed us that their kitchen was closing in 15 mi , but they did still accommodate us. The food came quick which is nice.
We ordered the riccota gnocci and a quinoa salad. The food was fine; average taste and quantity, nothing spectacular but too expensive for what you get.
The most irkful aspect of the meal was that the servers only ever came by to drop off the food. No check-ins or water refills but when the bill came, the server felt the need to instruct me on how to tip, "limiting" me to a minimum of 18%...
In any case, we are glad we went and tried the place. We are grateful for the quick meal and accommodating our late dining, but due to the pricing, quantity and, frankly, the lightly condescending vibe from them, we will not be returning.
For those who enjoy hakka/Indian food, you would be much better off trying Foodiez down the street. Cheaper, more flavorful and you'll definitely have enough to take some home at then end of the meal!
