We ate in a restaurant with guests who keep kosher from Israel. We were not impressed at all by the food, we expected something tastier. The service was bad, the waitress gave the impression that we did not treat her well, she was rude and even picked up everything. We will definitely not go back there

We went to eat there and I ate the most delicious fettuccine alfredo in the world. And smooth and airy gnocchi that melts in your mouth.Their service is excellent, everything was excellent.

The food was great. The service was a bit slow as they were busier than they anticipated.

I came here with my friend and we were immediately met by a friendly waitress who sat us down at a table. The service was great. The food was fresh and tasty. This place is pricy as it is an upscale restaurant, but it's totally worth it. I will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: This is a kosher dairy restaurant, so they don't serve meat or chicken. They do have fish, but there are many other options on the menu.Dietary restrictions: This place is kosherParking: There is a Green P lot down the road

It wasn't a total disaster, but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant unless you are specifically looking for Kosher food in a pleasant upper scale atmosphere. For me the best part of the meal was the fresh bread and Hummus which are given to each table before the meal. The menu is a very mixed bag between Mid-Eastern, Italian (pastas), Healthy (salads) and continental fish and meats. I didn't find anything I really thought I was interested in on the menu so I ordered the Fish & Chips. Together with the bland Ceasar Salad my partner shared with me, I ordered the Fish & Chips which was described as coming with creamy Cole Slaw (it didn't). I think a food truck would have done a better job sorry to say.

We got 2 pasta dishes and one French onion soup. The pasta dishes were very good, right flavor and playing. The French onion soup had too much cheese, and the cheese was hard and over done. The service was phenomenal, the only complaint was that we had to wait a tad too long for the amount of customers that were there. Other than that the waitress was excellent; not pushy or overbearing yet still available. The atmosphere is lacking. No effort was put into the decor. The floors are peeling, the place feels old and dank, and don't look up at the ceiling or you might think you're in a warehouse.Dietary restrictions: Kosher

We were visiting Toronto and had a dinner date with my brother and his wife who had recently celebrated a milestone birthday that I missed. My brother is strictly kosher and he knows the restaurants in Toronto better than I, so he chose Bistro Grande. It's a nice place. Parking is a challenge but we did find street parking nearby. It's an older place, been around a long time. But for a Tuesday night it was busy. Our server Janet was delightful, friendly and energetic. The menu was nice. Dairy and fish with plenty of options available. My wife and I shared a Fatoush salad and I had the Halibut Puttanesca. Finished with a molten chocolate cake and some wine with our meal and we got to enjoy a leisurely dinner, with great family for company and good food. Definitely a future option on a return visit when you need a good Kosher place to eat!

We arrived on a Sunday and the place was almost empty.Customer service was horrible. We asked for two teas while waiting for the meal. The waitress had attitude threw the box of teas at the table and said take your own. We waited for one hour for the meal. My wife ordered the cannelloni pasta and it was burned. On top of the bad service and horrible food the prices were outrages.
