Wifey liked the pork 🐽
Come to Bistro Manila. This is the real deal.
Not the best Filipino food I’ve had, but my friends liked it so that’s what matters. We went with most of the staff’s top picks. For me, the food was a bit greasy and not super flavorful. The servers were really nice but clearly busy and juggling a lot. It was pretty empty around 7 PM on a Friday, but things picked up closer to 9 when the live band was getting ready to play. We didn’t stay for the music since it was an extra $6 per person.
Ordered their garlic rice, pork sisig and lechon kawaili. Was a little bit too greasy and oily for my liking but the flavours were spot on. Service was friendly but we charged for a cover fee due to some band performance. I wish were told ahead of time before we were seated, therefore, I have to take off 2 stars. I might come back to try the other dishes. Just maybe... 🤔
Best Authentic Filipino dishes..
Check out Meca on Thursdays ! Quiet slow live music...
Highly recommend Bistro Manila Restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious and made with high-quality ingredients — I especially love their sisig and sarabasab! The customer service is excellent; the staff is friendly and attentive. Plus, their live bands are top-tier — always talented and full of energy. Bistro Manila truly knows how to create a great dining and entertainment experience! 🌟😍

The AC BAND is a powerhouse Band! However, if they will keep ignoring and not acknowledging song request. If they cannot play it, say something…rather than NOT SAYING SOMWTHING and leave the guest hanging makes place at the bottom. Bistro Manila is always good and has great artists. Ac Band needs to learn how to acknowledge guest requests and acknowledge guests requesting if they can or can’t play the song that was requested. It’s a bad thing to do as an artist. Just saying. Not a good band or artist attitude 😢. I produce production. But this is not the kind of Band I’m looking for. Sorry. AC BAND cannot be promoted. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

First time dining here. My mom and brothers love it so figured me and hubby could check it out. Clean, fun, friendly environment but the food is just amazing. Definitely coming back

Live acoustic entertainment with sizzling Bangus Sisig at Bistro Manila is a great way to cap a Sunday evening.
Tonight was the first time that I’ve ever been to this place. First off, the inside was very small and loud, they had a band night, and a bar. There was a $6-8 band cover per person (I forget the actual price). The food was severely overpriced for a very underwhelming taste. The staff, however, was nice.
We ordered quite a bit ($120 bill):
1. Pancit — it was okay, not a lot of meat and veggies in the serving. 3/10 rating.
2. Garlic fried rice — it looked and tasted like a freshly made rice topped with soy sauce. It literally did not taste anywhere near what I’ve ordered so I asked to switch it with plain rice instead, which was the exact same rice without soy sauce as toppings. There was not a single piece of garlic found in the plate. I could make better garlic fried rice at home, sadly. 0/10 rating.
3. Pork sinigang — it tasted like boiled water with added cups and cups of salt and tamarind powder with chewy pork with tons of fat and a couple of eggplants and long beans. Once again, I could make a better version of this at home. 2/10.
4. Sizzling sisig bangus — it’s okay but I’ve had better, from Marcelina’s. 5/10 rating
5. Liempo — it was basically grilled and straight out of the grill, dry as a soil. 1/10 rating.
Overall, we were extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the food. I wish the “chef” would’ve tried harder to make better food. It’s safe to say that we had TONS of leftovers. I prefer Marcelina’s better for the same price and better ambiance. Sadly, I won’t come back here again and now I know why I’ve never heard of this place before.
