I think that what people are coming here for is the nostalgia, in its day this was really a great pizza spot. I think now with so many great pizza places and just varieties of pizza that this place is probably charging more than it should for what it is. The pizza is fine, that’s all. The location is convenient but aside from that there isn’t much to say about the spot itself. They haven’t updated the space which sure makes it nostalgic but also dirty and dated. There isn’t seating so you will need to stand outside. The staff are very rude, there is just no nice way to say it. They are curt and boarding on mad that you are there. Overall, it’s old school and at some point that becomes less cool and more just uncomfortable. Oh and they only take cash, which is alone enough of an inconvenience.

It smells SO good inside, like freshly baked bread. I ordered a big fat panzerotti which I’d say was probably the size of my face for around $13. It was salty and cheesy and honestly a bit overwhelming but it’s great to split with someone 😁 Nice place to visit to yap with a friend just remember to bring cash!!!
And sadly, no mirror in the bathroom but I will live.

Been going here since I was a child - over 30 years - don’t think we don’t notice you changed the cheese in the panzos. What’s so hard about keeping a recipe the same as it always was? Even as ownership changes. The oil appears darker too. If something’s not broke, don’t fix it. I used to tell everyone about this place - now, I won’t be going back. Such a shame.

Decided to come back after 10 years and instantly regretted it. Our panzerottis were soggy, oily and uncooked. The Veal meat was disgusting and left an after taste. The Penne pasta had no flavour. They've increased their prices significantly and decreased their flavors. We all felt sick as soon as we began to eat. Eat at your own risk; I wouldnt suggest taking the risk.

I have heard of this place for a long time and many people told me I have to come here. Well I did. Pizza was not good by today's good pizza standards. The pepperoni is awful, cheap fake type meat. The cheese seems cheap and sloppy. The crust was probably the pizza's strongest point. Maybe this place was great 40 years ago, back when it was more authentic, ingredients were better, and we all lived in better times. It's a shame that tradition was not kept, would be nice to have a blast from the past in 2026. Won't be coming back here. Sometimes old relics just need to die.
Love their 🍕 and panzerotti 👍 they were like Frankie Tomatoes they have highly selected chefs. True,no more Italian cooks anywhere 😔
