I had just experienced a breakup the day prior. The server/waitress was incredibly nice after I had taken up the guitar in the room and started playing. It really brightened my mood and gave me hope for the future. The ambience of the place is also very cool and unique. You can tell it is a well-loved institution. The food was delicious as well. Would 10/10 recommend.

Mark is a great host and Rino a hostess and entertainment is every night of the week. small seating, so get there early, especially Sunday night Open Mic Night. Acoustic Open Mic on Thursdays is good too.

We had burgers, Hot hamburger and butter chicken. Server was asked if the butter chicken was spicy and we were told no. My friend could not take the heat and ate maybe an eighth of the meal. He could not get it down. All the burger patties were as hard as a rock not to mention dry. No one could actually complete a meal. 4 out of 4 meals were terrible. The server was upset and did not want to discount anything. She was frustrated annd rude. Only one of us was offered a replacement meal. Finally in the end my husband spoke to the owner ( who was dodging us ) letting his servers get all the complaints. After dealing with the owner he compt 3 of the 4 meals as a goodbye he told my husband NOT to come back.. customer service at its finest. Why would we come back the food was crap!!!!

Honestly some of the best fries I have ever had. The fry truck of my dreams. I wish they would get a spice bag.

The curry was also amazing and at a reasonable pre-covid price. Ate the food so fast forgot to take pics. I'll get them next time when I come back

This place has a old time neighborhood feel. Food is well prepared, good value. Great selection of Whiskies at a fair price. This would be a fun place to watch a game as they have lots tvs and sports memorabilia hanging on the walls. Owner was friendly and seemed interested in his customers. I look forward to visiting again for a cool beer(s) and burger.

I came by recently and was blown away by the quality of the food — it honestly felt like there’s a new energy in the kitchen. I had the chicken parmesan and wings as well, and both were absolutely fantastic. The pasta was cooked perfectly and full of flavour, and the wings were some of the best I’ve had in a pub — crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and seasoned just right.

Huge shoutout to the chef, I'm not sure if you have changed, but your work is definitely being noticed. It’s not every day you find pub food that tastes this fresh and well crafted. You can tell there’s real passion and skill behind every plate.

Looking forward to coming back soon!

Disrespectful! Telling me or any drummer how to play the drums at an Open Jam is unprofessional and restrictive to our creative nature. An Open Jam is where you should be able to feel free to express yourself, especially being a musician. I came from over an hour away and left with disgust! Don't have an Open Jam with a Drum Kit and invite musicians because you might actually have them come out to play! Some advice: don't ever tell any musician how to play their instrument. Never coming back!

The black bar is your classic local untouched by time, and a clean rag.
Went for breakfast (1130ish, not busy) based on friends recommendation, and got some coffee, OJ, 2 caesars, and 2 eggs benedict. Listen, this is the best hollandaise sauce I've ever tasted in my life. Legit. Eggs were poached med, with ample peameal bacon, all topped on soft toasted english muffins. The home fries were a bit of a mix of sub cooked and well cooked potatoes (not their fault, most diners are like this right?), my wife got fries instead (which is the move), the coffee was decent, and the Caesars were made with horseradish (not a lot of bars carry horseradish, WHY?!). All in b4 tip $53, that's pretty good!
Will definitely be coming back to try new things and will update then.
Update: the service and food wasn't even close second time around. Service was terrible, and food was cold, and the salmon was off on the Benny.
Ordered take out a few weeks later, also not good. Must've gotten lucky our first time cuz it's been terrible since.
Will not be returning.
It's noting they play live music some nights.
