came for lunch on a weekday; busy but fast service. at 20$ a sandwich i’m surprised how big and filling it actually was. took the advice of another reviewer here who said to get the brisket with bbq and charamoula + tomatoes + chili red onions + fortunate cheese. amazing combo. i ate it at home with a fork and knife 40 mins later and it wasn’t messy this way + still amazing.

very friendly staff, green tea is sweetly fragrant, very nice. 4 chairs for sitting, delicious butter tart and earl grey glazed blueberry scone, delicious coffee choco chip muffin, amazing latte skill, foam stays intact even til the bottom of the cup 😲👍🏻👍🏻

New favourite breakfast sandwich in the city! After kindly being introduced to it by a friend, I was in love with this sandwich at first bite. But stopped by today to grab one for myself and found the staff’s warmth and smiles plus the space itself (coachbus reststop snackbar meets 70’s corporate airport terminal— in the best possible way) to more than sell Black Camel as the whole package. Will be back again whenever I’m in the area. Thank you for the amazing sandwich!

One of the oldest and best sandwich places in the city. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and the quality and consistency has never faltered.

It’s so refreshing that they’re still pumping out such good, classic sandwiches in an era where so many Toronto sandwich spots are just chasing whatever the latest sandwich trend is. Also, Black Camel prices are better than all those places anyway.

Black Camel is an OG for a reason. Keep supporting them!

Pretty good sandwiches, the club blt + chicken is ok, though i would prefer a stronger bacon flavor and pesto sauce flavor, as for the signature slow cooked brisket, tender and juicy for sure, the flavor mostly comes from the bbq sauce though. Overall not bad

The food was really good, I enjoyed it a lot.
However, when I arrived, the worker assumed I was only there for an Uber Eats pickup and didn’t ask if I wanted to order food. It made me feel a bit rushed.

Really good sandwiches. Got the BLT and pulled pork. They load the pulled pork with meat, sauce is great and bread is nice and soft and fresh. Different twist on a BLT but also delicious and super fresh. 10/10 would recommend

This is a top-notch takeout spot — so good that my office sometimes places bulk lunch orders here. While the beef brisket sandwich is a popular choice, I think the real standout is the seared steak sandwich. Adding a few veggie toppings really takes it to the next level, and pairing it with a side of coleslaw completes the meal perfectly. Highly recommended for a satisfying and flavorful lunch!

Been enjoying their beef brisket sandwiches for over 10 years now. Just returned after a long hiatus and grateful to see that they still got it

My toppings:
- charamoula mayo (free)
- black camel BBQ sauce (free)
- Roma tomatoes ($1.10)
- chili red onions ($1.10)
- fontina cheese ($1.10)

It’s a sloppy sandwich, but don’t get it twisted, it goes in
