Blomboon on Queens Quay W is a fantastic spot on Toronto’s waterfront. I had the Persian breakfast and it was absolutely delicious — you can really taste that everything is made in-house and prepared with care. The flavors were fresh and authentic, and it felt like a thoughtful, high-quality meal.
The restaurant itself is cozy and welcoming, and the waterfront location makes it especially enjoyable during the daytime. Sitting by the water while having breakfast adds to the whole experience.
Great food and great atmosphere. I’m already looking forward to coming back to try their dinner.

I love this place. It’s one of Queens Quay’s best-kept secrets. It’s quiet, tasteful, and welcoming.
Tonight I had Fesenjoon - grilled pomegranate-chicken atop saffron rice. Exquisite!
I recommend Hes highly.

Food is not very good but is very expensive. I see they have tried to rename the place but it’s a shame the food is so bad. They are trying very hard but honestly need a new menu/chef

3 of us came to try out this restaurant as it is close to our house ended up payjng $100 for the three of us each getting drinks, mains, and appetizers. The man who greeted and served us who I am assuming is the owner was very polite and gave us a lot of helpful information and tips about what to order as well as gave us a complimentary rice pudding that was very delicious. The place is pretty empty but has fantastic food, prices that can’t be beat especially for the quality of food and a large selection. Would definetly be going back here.

Had dinner here and had to write a review. Don’t be fooled by the google review photos, they do indeed have Persian meals 😅. We were greeted by who I believe was the owner. Was very respectable and even gave us drinks on the house to try. The food was very delicious (the chicken I had was tender and rice was seasoned to perfection - gotta learn how to make this at home). Atmosphere was clean and music was calming with a basketball game on the TV. 11/10 will come back again 😁

Great spot!
Love the quinoa salad!
We visited hes lounge on New Year’s Eve 2026 and ordered lentil soup, Fakesenjoon, and Alfredo chicken pasta. Unfortunately, the lentil soup was very disappointing and not worth the price, and the chicken in the Alfredo pasta lacked flavor honestly, it tasted better homemade. However, we really enjoyed the Fakesenjoon. it was well prepared and flavorful. Sadly, the overall experience affected our New Year vibe. Hoping for better consistency in the future.

This place is a gem! I went there for lunch with my friend. I had the kashke bademjan the most perfect eggplant dish I have ever had, almost creamy and with lovely caramelized onion flavouring. The persian bread is a beautiful thin flatbread covered in sesame. Crunchy outside and soft inside. My friend had fakesenjoon (chicken with pomegranate and walnuts) and could not stop raving about it. Mory, the owner convinced us to try the homemade baklava for dessert. This is not your usual wet and sticky baklava. The pastry is light and flaky with a superb nut filling. I have not had such a fabulous restaurant meal in a long long time.
