I had visited this café before, but this time I decided to give it a second chance and try their choux pastries. Unfortunately, I really didn’t like them at all.
First of all, the jasmine flavor strongly reminded me of matcha. When I brought this up in order to return the pastry, the staff member did not understand me at all. She simply stood there smiling and insisting that everything was correct. The first time I tried matcha, I found it overly sweet, and this jasmine pastry gave me exactly the same impression.
What upset me the most was the reaction of the staff. They made no attempt to resolve the situation or find a solution — they just smiled and did nothing. It felt like they were robots placed there purely for appearance, not for customer service.
Will I come back? Absolutely not. I didn’t like anything there except the beautiful presentation. The pastries themselves still need serious improvement in flavor, and the staff clearly needs proper training.
Pros: nice visual presentation
Cons: staff (a major downside)

There's super mean girl with light brown skin and middle curly hair and wearing woolen hat today(the time is Dec 10 around 5:02pm). she didn't say anything when she saw the customer. and all her face shows impatient.
The most interesting part is, she hooked the cake box only with her middle finger and handed it to me. From my perspective, she was looking at you with an impatient face and giving you the middle finger.
I can clearly sense her groundless malice. I hope such a perfect store won't hire such a person to spoil the impression of its customers. After that she sat at the back table with her contemptuous look and played with her phone.
And if the manager can see this comment, don’t let this girl ruin ur store. She’s really terrible

The Matcha Sundae at Bloom Cafe was okay. The matcha flavour was a bit too weak to our liking.

I have come here before too but the latest staff the new guy with long hair and the new girl are not very good. They don’t make good matcha and the quantity of matcha they used add before has reduced and now it’s all milk and ice. Very disappointing service. Would not recommend anyone!

I had the matcha Sundae and it was amazing. There were so many different elements to the Sundae like jelly stuff, red bean, rice balls and the Matcha was just perfect. I would definitely return and it was well worth the price.

Stumbled across this little cafe on our walk and it did not disappoint. We were craving something sweet and honestly wanted to try everything, but we went with the Matcha and Jasmine Tea soft serve and it was amazing!! Their matcha lattes and cream puffs looked amazing too, so we’ll definitely be back to try those next

This cafe has lovely vibes but I wouldn’t come here late at night because of the service. The server was very kind but the quality of food(?) drops a little when it’s at night than during the day! The bakery item was all sold out when I went there at 8:00pm and I heard their matcha latte was very good but it was really bitter when I ordered hot. Maybe if was cold it would’ve been better. I recommend this place during morning time! (The sitting areas are always full)

So disappointed in their matcha powder. I even bought two (one ceremonial and semi-ceremonial). I've been having their matcha sundaes for a long while now which tastes great. For the price of the ceremonial powder ($38 for 85g) I was heartbroken. Trusted it was gonna be good because their other desserts were always very good🥹 I actually tried the semi one first so that if it was ever bad, at least it was only $20 :( Then still gave the ceremonial a chance and it's very earthy and dark (not the sweet kind). Not gonna be buying again.

Stopped by Bloom Cafe and between the two of us, we cleaned up: my friend devoured his hojicha and I… finished my soft serve. Now, if you know me personally, you’d know that I’m that one weirdo who doesn’t like ice cream (yep, I said it). So the fact that I finished every last bite? That’s a big deal.
The flavor combo I had was matcha and grape — sounds like a culinary dare, right? But somehow, it works. It’s balanced, not overly sweet, and super refreshing. 🍇🍵 Would 100% come back just for the soft serve.
As for the vibe, Bloom Cafe is quiet, cozy, and private — a great spot if you’re looking to have a calm coffee chat or need a peaceful place to study or work. There’s plenty of seating and no blaring music, which is becoming rare these days. 🧘♀️
They’ve also got a solid variety of drinks. I’m not a coffee person (shocking, I know), but if you are, they’ve got you covered. If you’re not, there are still plenty of non-coffee options, so no FOMO here. Plus, they have a display of pastries and cakes that look so tempting — I already made a mental note to come back and try one (or three 😅).
Have you tried their cakes? Any must-haves I should look out for next time?
