This cafe has lovely vibes but I wouldn’t come here late at night because of the service. The server was very kind but the quality of food(?) drops a little when it’s at night than during the day! The bakery item was all sold out when I went there at 8:00pm and I heard their matcha latte was very good but it was really bitter when I ordered hot. Maybe if was cold it would’ve been better. I recommend this place during morning time! (The sitting areas are always full)

Solid coffee, very delicious mochi, great ambience with a nice, quiet backroom.

Their matcha sundae is sooo good. It comes with 2 mochis, Rice Krispies at the bottom and jelly!

So disappointed in their matcha powder. I even bought two (one ceremonial and semi-ceremonial). I've been having their matcha sundaes for a long while now which tastes great. For the price of the ceremonial powder ($38 for 85g) I was heartbroken. Trusted it was gonna be good because their other desserts were always very good🥹 I actually tried the semi one first so that if it was ever bad, at least it was only $20 :( Then still gave the ceremonial a chance and it's very earthy and dark (not the sweet kind). Not gonna be buying again.

Stopped by Bloom Cafe and between the two of us, we cleaned up: my friend devoured his hojicha and I… finished my soft serve. Now, if you know me personally, you’d know that I’m that one weirdo who doesn’t like ice cream (yep, I said it). So the fact that I finished every last bite? That’s a big deal.

The flavor combo I had was matcha and grape — sounds like a culinary dare, right? But somehow, it works. It’s balanced, not overly sweet, and super refreshing. 🍇🍵 Would 100% come back just for the soft serve.

As for the vibe, Bloom Cafe is quiet, cozy, and private — a great spot if you’re looking to have a calm coffee chat or need a peaceful place to study or work. There’s plenty of seating and no blaring music, which is becoming rare these days. 🧘‍♀️

They’ve also got a solid variety of drinks. I’m not a coffee person (shocking, I know), but if you are, they’ve got you covered. If you’re not, there are still plenty of non-coffee options, so no FOMO here. Plus, they have a display of pastries and cakes that look so tempting — I already made a mental note to come back and try one (or three 😅).

Have you tried their cakes? Any must-haves I should look out for next time?

Didn’t really taste matcha.
Peach earl grey pudding - no taste of earl grey tea. Peach wasn’t fresh. Tasted like canned.

A great spot for studying, reading a book, or just drinking and eating yummy food. Had an oolong latte and it was lovely.

Cafe with japanese drinks and desserts. Lots of matcha desserts, like the matcha puffs, matcha yuzu cake slice, matcha daifuku and matcha sundae. If you like matcha, this place is probably the best in Toronto for matcha, sencha and hojicha lattes.

I’ve stopped by a few times now, and the matcha here always delivers. The flavour is bold and smooth— never chalky, never weak.

The matcha sundae is creamy, not overly sweet, and packed with toppings. It’s the kind of dessert that leaves you feeling refreshed and full at the same time. Super satisfying, especially on a summer day.

The matcha cream puff is worth trying as well. The shell is light and crisp, with a glossy glaze that adds a subtle sweetness. Inside, it’s stuffed with thick, silky matcha cream. I also tried the matcha daifuku— cloud-like mochi on the outside, cool and creamy on the inside. Every bite is soft and chewy.

My only note is that it does get crowded, so finding a seat can be tricky. But if you can snag a spot, it’s absolutely worth hanging out for a bit.

I had the best time here at Bloom cafe! I had a really good experience with Omar, who was very friendly and hospitable with amazing service. My friends and I tried a bunch of the food items as well as the drinks and shisha, and everything was a 10/10.

I really appreciate coming to a restaurant and having such good service. Everything came so quickly and was amazing quality. The shisha was some of the best i’ve had in ontario, it was super smooth and flavorful.

I truly recommend this place.

Bloom Cafe is the spot to go to any day of the week. It’s a nice cafe to study at although I feel like it would be better if I go just to enjoy the cafe and their menu. The interior is pretty, the service is great and the iced americano is good. I can’t wait to go back to try the plethora of baked items they offer
