We visited prior to attending show and selected pre theatre menu. Food was all excellent, service attentive and we greatly enjoyed a wonderful meal prior to the show. Reservation was 5:15 and we had a leisurely dinner. Highly recommend!

We went to Blu Ristorante for the $57 pre-theatre menu, and while the food was excellent, the experience felt rushed from start to finish. We had a 5:30 reservation and the show started at 7:30. We had to make our selections almost immediately, even before we'd ordered drinks. Each course arrived right after the previous plates were cleared, and the bill was brought to the table without any offer of dessert, coffee, or an aperitif. At one point, the drink menu and our wine glasses were taken away, even though we had planned to order a bottle to celebrate the evening. That really surprised me, and instead of saying anything, we decided to just go somewhere else afterward for wine. Our server, Bryce, was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and clearly doing his best despite the pace of service. Overall, the food and prices were great, but the rushed service made it hard to enjoy the evening. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

First time at this restaurant, both my friend and I would definitely return. Server was superb, food delicious and even the coffee was great.

From the moment we walked in, the staff at Blu made us feel so welcome. Their hospitality was above and beyond — truly some of the best service I've experienced in a long time. Despite our husbands arriving after 11 just to join us for a quick drink, the team went out of their way to prepare entrées for them without hesitation. Every detail was handled with such care — from helping us with our coats to making sure our table felt looked after all night. It's rare to find a place that combines great food with such genuine warmth and attention to detail. We were blown away by how thoughtful the team was. Thank you, Blu, for turning a simple night out into such a memorable experience. We can't wait to come back!

Unfortunately, my party if 6 walked out before the meal was done. We did the pre theatre menu, made it known we had show; we had a couple drinks each and paid well over $200 per couple. There was a very very long gap between appetizers and main and then so long before dessert came that we had to leave. We had 10mins to show time. Kind of hilarious that they advised a two seating limit and couldn't deliver the meal in that period. Everything was yummy but if you have somewhere to be this may not be the place to go.

Great place to dine prior to a matinee theatre performance . The food and service are excellent.

We came here for a birthday dinner and decided to try the $79 tasting menu (five courses each), which I had researched online. Between the two of us, we tried about 10 dishes, and honestly, we only really enjoyed four.. yet two being the desserts. The beef carpaccio was phenomenal (definitely the highlight of the night), and the tomato, burrata, and beet salad was also really good. The chicken was decent, but everything else missed the mark. The grilled calamari was extremely chewy and unpleasant, and the tuna tartare, while flavorful, just had an odd texture and really needed some crunch. We also felt the portions and presentation were a bit off. For example, the carpaccio came with only one crostini, which felt stingy even for a tasting menu. Service-wise, things were disorganized. We were switched between servers a couple of times, and the person who started us off seemed new and unsure about the tasting menu details. The final server was friendly and made conversation at the end, but overall the service didn't feel polished or consistent. Overall, the experience was pretty mid-to-lackluster for the price. Dave would probably say it was a bad experience; I'd say it was just okay at best. Not somewhere we'd rush back to, unfortunately.

Celebrated my wifes birthday together. It is a great place to eat after a show. Nice and close, great food, service and ambiance.

We visited the previous location (assuming the team behind this restaurant is the same as before) which was fabulous. Honestly we felt a little let down. The service was ok but some of the ambience has been lost. The menu was varied and enticing. The steak was good and well prepared but the salmon was average and was not served warm. Part of the order didn't arrive at all. Such a shame.

Very good food. Tables a bit close together... Felt like the diner next to us was constantly checking out what we were eating. A bit noisy as there is nothing to absorb sound.

Outstanding food and drink. Great service, we were visited with and chatted to by almost every staff member. ....They all wanted details about the Jay's game. Plus they brought me a great piece of birthday cake.

Our waiter, Michael, was great. He was very attentive and helped us make great choices from the menu. BLU should be proud of such a professional staff member.

Excellent choice for pre theatre dining. Lunch prix fixed is a great value. Loved the duck confit pizza. Well-rounded list of wines by the glass.

We had the most wonderful experience at Blü. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive. They made the whole evening feel special. The food was absolutely amazing and every single dish blew us away. You can tell there is real care and quality in everything they serve.

If you are looking for a spot in Toronto that combines delicious food with top-notch service and a warm atmosphere, this is it. Highly recommend giving Blü a try.
