The food was good, just not memorable. It took a solid 20 minutes before we were even asked for a drink order, followed immediately by pressure to order both starters and mains at once. The Caesar salad was genuinely delicious. The grilled calamari was very good as well, though a bit heavy on the sauce. We ordered the bolognese, seafood pasta, and branzino—portions were enormous, which sounds great until you realize the branzino was largely flavorless and paired with aggressively...
We went to Blu Ristorante and enjoyed a dinner from the winterlicious menu. I had the carpaccio, shrimp risotto and pistachio tiramisu. The waiter and service was great and provided good advice on the menu and suggestions for wine, all very helpful. During dinner, we also had live music by a pianist. I would highly recommend, great value for the food, atmosphere and service.
We (Port Saint John) booked a corporate event at Blu Ristorante in August for an event in December. Communication was excellent from August-December. Once on-site the venue was lovely, food excellent and service was top notch. Very professional and exceptional customer service. We highly recommend Blu Ristorante.
