Bobbette & Belle Artisanal Pastries

We ordered the Ultimate Chocolate cake for a birthday celebration - after many suggesting this was one of if not the best cake in the city.

It was fabulous. Great presentation just like the photos. Beautiful buttercream, rich dark chocolate flavour, 3x layers super moist and fudgey, and the brownies on top were delicious.

Don't believe some of the bad reviews, the cake was awesome. Everyone raved about it. Also the maple pecan tarts, next level.

We will be back!

My first experience trying the cupcakes was disappointing, but today I went in person to give them a second try and I was impressed. Walking in there is a calm atmosphere, beautiful displays and I appreciated the excellent customer service. The cupcakes were moist and not overly sweet, with really delicious flavour offerings. (Passionfruit; peanut butter and chocolate yummm, were my favourites) nothing like my first experience. I’m happy I came back and would definitely buy again!

The staff are professional and very pleasant
It was a real pleasure ordering the cupcake tower anda lot of fun too!
However, the cake topper as pictured on hydrangea cupcake tower was missing. The online order did not mention the cake was additional $75 in addition to $425 total ing $500. The Deeply Disappointing Cupcake Tower was of no concern to Bobbette and Belle Owner. It is a shame!

Honestly disappointing flavour. My brother ordered a cake from here and it looked so good on the website. And sounded good based on the description. The reality though was super disappointing. The cake was ok, kind of dry, but not the worst. But the icing - woof. For a caramel banana cream cake it tasted like... nothing? The icing literally had zero flavour, almost like eating butter. Whipped butter. Or maybe not whipped enough butter. Zero flavour of banana cream. For $85 I am betting you can find a way better tasting cake in the area than what they have here. Or maybe butter icing is your thing lol 😂

The location is very nice but the cupcakes were very plain and dry tasting. It was kind of disappointing because it was for a birthday and we were excited to try them.

Visited the store on Aug 29, 2025. I had heard some really good things about the store and products so I was very excited to try a few things.

Positives - Gorgeous place. Very aesthetic and the ambiance is very welcoming. Clean place and the dessert display was beautiful. Made me want to try everything but we settled for 2 cupcakes for take out.

Negative - customer service. I am big on customer service and it was very disappointing. No small talk, no patience. Not being offered a bag for the things we bought. A rush to serve us so we could get out of the way was not what I was expecting.

The intention behind this review is not to affect the business negatively. As a matter of fact, it may not make any difference whatsoever in your sales. You have a beautiful store with some of the best desserts the city has to offer. Being served by someone who is a people person could just make someone’s day better. The cake may or may not be the best but the customer always remembers the service.

Cupcakes were yum though. We got the pina colada and chocolate raspberry and loved them both.

Bought about two dozen macarons, but found out that they gave me one less than what I paid for when I got home. Some of the macarons got damaged due to their poorly designed box

For our wedding favours, we ordered Bobbette & Belle's beautiful custom mini cakes for each guest. They were gorgeous perfection and looked beautiful at each guest's place setting. We received a ton of feedback saying how delicious they were. Bobbette & Belle surpassed our expectations and we are customers for life!

Placed an order ahead of time for floral-themed buttercream and vanilla cupcakes for an event. We received prompt confirmation of the order and communication was easy. Our order was ready at the agreed upon time and pickup went smoothly. The cupcakes were absolutely beautiful and travelled well - we received lots of compliments on their appearance. That said, the flavour and texture left much to be desired… the cupcake base was incredibly dry and tasted stale (despite us eating them within 2 hours of the pickup time). The buttercream was also very firm and lacked any sweetness, reminding us of refrigerated butter in both flavour and texture. Not sure if this was just an “off batch”, but it was quite disappointing.

My wife got some cupcakes and a brownie. The brownie was decent but the cupcakes were sooo dry. Seems like that's a common occurrence. Definitely won't be back.

Bobbette & Belle made the most incredible lemon cake for our vow renewal—it was an absolute showstopper. Elegant, beautifully crafted, and hands down the best-tasting cake we've ever had. Our guests are still talking about it!

The artistry, attention to detail, and flawless execution made it such a highlight of our celebration. We’re so thankful we chose Bobbette & Belle for such a special occasion. Highly, highly recommend!
