The food is good but just a heads up they do not allow strollers inside the restaurant. They turned my friend away in the freezing rain with her toddler. It’s understandably a small space, but the staff seemed dismissive. The situation could have been handled better.
Bodega Henriette is a cozy spot along a primarily residential strip of Gerrard. It’s divided up into a cafe at the front, and is a dine-in restaurant at the back. In the summer there’s a small patio too so you have a better chance at scoring a seat! The cafe is fantastic. They offer a large assortment of pastries and desserts that are made daily, as well as beignets on Sundays. You can’t go wrong with anything here, the assortment is often changing so you can always find...
Great neighbourhood gem. Food is season close-to-perfection for the audience they cater to. The attention from the red-head waitress was amazing. Drinks were great. The pastries are a must, perhaps a before and after a meal. They also have a coffee counter for take-out that seems busy.
