This is my favourite cafe in the area, whenever I leave I feel a little bit happier than when I went in. The lattes are good and they have a nice gluten free option that is worth going back for. The people working there are always so chatty and kind, I would definitely recommend dropping in!

We just called from Portugal!

We are excited to hear that you have Pedras.
If you can get Pedras limão we would love that!

Everything looked good and there’s so many options… but… my chocolate eclair was still a little frozen inside and the flavour was just mediocre. I also got a biscoff cupcake but the only thing that tasted like biscoff was the actual biscoff cookie, the rest of the toppings just tasted like burnt caramel.

I am grateful for deciding to visit this bakery/caffe. This place is authentic and truly Portuguese. I can go there and say that I feel at home. The flavours are the same flavours of my country. I was tired of visiting places entitled as Portuguese restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries as I was always disappointed because it doesn’t taste like Portuguese food at all. I had the chance to meet the chef, who is a lovely lady and she guaranteed that all the ingredients come from Portugal, that’s why it’s truthful. Price wise I was also impressed. I paid 18$ for a speciality latte, 2 Portuguese treats and 1 cake. Compared to other coffee shops, it was fairly priced. The service was great too. I didn’t feel any pressure to order. I was so delighted to see all the sweet treasures of my country that I spent more time deciding than ordering. Please try this place even if you are just curious about what Portuguese food tastes like. I hope Toronto cherishes this place.

Just want to give this place their flowers - I was on the streetcar and witnessed an unhoused person try to enter the store and instead of the employee being aggressive or dismissive, they gave them a few bags of day old pastries. It was a very heartwarming, human and peaceful act of kindness and while I’ve never eaten here before I will make sure to stop in next time I’m in the area ❤️

Great Portuguese tarts!

Just shy of $3 for a custard tart when everywhere else is like $1.60 on average? No thanks.

My first time here and it was delicious! I had a pistachio tart recommended by Ana and Mirelle, and I loved it! They were both very kind and attentive. I highly recommend it!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!..... I ordered through uber eats...... A cappuccino a salmon croissant..... The cappuccino is the best i've had outside of italy.
The salmon croissant was just as FANTASTICCCCC as the cuppacino .... Easily as good as anything I've eaten in Paris.
The food quality was as good as any I've had at a Michelin restaurant
