It was my first time trying Malatang by my friends recommendation! We came here and we enjoyed it sooo much!! The food was spicy and delicious and I loved that we were able to choose our toppings and what goes in and we got to choose our spice levels. You pay by the weight of how much you got and surprisingly, it didn't come out as much as I expected it to considering I got like everything out of curiosity lol. I'll definitely come by again if I'm in the area

its a great restaurant to go to when it's a cold, winter day and you need a nice hot, spicy bowl of noodles

DO NOT GO! We had a group of four people for lunch, we ALL got food poisoning right after came out of this places. If one person, maybe it’s something wrong, but all of us had to go to washroom right after, this place has health issue and food is not clean/fresh, not fully cooked. DONT Go if you don’t want to get sick.

Really nice service and great food!

Dietary restrictions: They were accomodating about my dietary restrictions, but definitely has a lot of allergens in the food.

I'm no expert on asian soups, but it was fun to pick things up yourself, give it to them and have them cook it in their broth. I went with mild and it was just the right spice for me. Tasted great! The service was plenty nice for a do it yourself. The atmosphere was basic, not elegant, but I enjoy that.

I'm very surprised how tasty the food here even though you pick your own toppings. I would of given a 5 star if they didn't have ice stuff to weigh for my food. Also other locations don't have wet clams or water things. The girl never told me my stuff is under 400 grams which was the minimum and she didn't honor her word.

I've been here more than once, and this time I couldn't bear it anymore. The food quality is getting worse and worse. The only meal I ate today was bone soup spicy hotpot. After eating it, my stomach started to feel uncomfortable😅 It was my pot. When I saw the bean sprouts, I felt that it was not too fresh. The same was the luncheon meat. There were not many fresh ingredients. I still don’t believe it. I just ate it and now my stomach hurts all the time. My stomach is very tight (I can eat raw and pickled stomachs with no problem). The only two things in Canada that make me suffer from bad stomach are bone soup Malatang and Ms. Fu’s soup kelp Kun poisoning 🤢 I will never do it again in this life, food Security is too bad….

First time visiting this restaurant. Looked good on the outside so I decided to take a chance. Was greeted as soon as I came in. This type of restaurant is new to me so the employee explained how everything works. Seeing all these "mysterious" ingredients was overwhelming and I didn't know what to pick. Instead of allowing me to just stand there, the employee took it upon herself to make suggestions and helped me pick the right portions. While it was more than what I expected to pay(my fault for not weighing things first) the service was super fast, and the food was amazing. I will definitely come back here again, and maybe even visit their other locations if I am in the area

Compared to other malatang places in the city they seem to have a bit more variety of ingredients. Quite a spacious place so not too cramped.

I had an amazing first-time experience at Bone Soup Malatang The food was fantastic, and I was impressed by the wide range of options available. The dishes arrived quickly, and the portion sizes were generous, depending on how much you add to your bowl. It’s an ideal spot for a cozy meal, and I highly recommend dining in for the complete experience!

this place is absolutely disgusting, not only is the foodTERRIBLE, these workers are extremely rude and racists. Ive tried calling this establishment 3 separate times to discuss something of extreme importance with them and their employees hang up on me each and every time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR SERVICE! if you are looking for there Tamin spots in the

The food is good. It has a lot of ingridients for the soup to choose. The soup base is creamy a bit because of the sesame sauce but it's still fresh

I like spicy bone soup Malatang, but this time when I went some of the food didn’t seem fresh. The meat was also empty and people were asking for the refill but the staff wasn’t listening and went to grab it a while later.

Great place, cannot recommend it enough. Always busy and full, with a very high quality service, for a place like this.
After the first time I tried soup here - I became addicted.
Also, prices, compared to a place nearby with the same idea of street food are comparably lower.
