Absolutely love the food and the service here. They always have specials on as well so there is always variety. They're serving up some great Dutch dishes! The restaurant is not huge so it might be wise to make a reservation if you're going during dinner rush. They also have bar seating and a lovely selection of cocktails.
We had a great night at Borrel! It was busier than we expected, which we loved! There’s a good vibe. With many Dutch decorative items. We didn’t have to wait for a seat, but some guests after us did have to wait for a bit. It’s worth the wait. Service is really good, and the menu has varied and good options. We tried the snacks, like kaassoufflés and kroketten. We craved these snacks for a while now and we were happy we could get a taste of the Netherlands again. Next time...
It's been a long time since I've had bitterballen and kroketten (lived in Utrecht until 2014), and both tasted exactly how I remember them. I almost cried from how delicious everything that I ordered was. I plan to go back again (and again). ❤️
