The restaurant is quaint and lovely. Four vegan main dish options is a lot for a menu so small. Very nice servers. Good drinks and prices are decent. I forgot to take pics of the mains, these are pics of the apps (fries with curry ketchup and peanut satay sauce ... yum).
This was my first time eating at and visiting Borrel. The pictures on the walls, the atmosphere, the staff, the food.... It all was so amazing.
It's been a long time since I've had bitterballen and kroketten (lived in Utrecht until 2014), and both tasted exactly how I remember them. I almost cried from how delicious everything that I ordered was. I plan to go back again (and again). ❤️

Absolutely love the food and the service here. They always have specials on as well so there is always variety. They're serving up some great Dutch dishes! The restaurant is not huge so it might be wise to make a reservation if you're going during dinner rush. They also have bar seating and a lovely selection of cocktails.
