My go-to cafe at Pape and Chester Station. Very welcoming, warm place. Staff is cool as well. Im addicted to their hot chocolate!

I found this place while seeking solace from the rain, and was wonderfully surprised. There's a unique and tasty selection of drinks and desserts, and some cozy seating options. The staff are friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. (Also, the bathroom is spacious and very pretty!)

I love this place. They give you iced coffee cubes in your iced coffee so as they melt, the drink doesn’t water down (I thought this was pretty brilliant). Also the staff is always so friendly and sometimes on holidays they even give out free snacks!

Coffee and baked goods are pretty good, but I consider it a low integrity move to give the end piece of banana bread to a customer when there are plenty of good ones left. When it's the end of the day there's one or two slices left, I get it, but when there's one or two slices out of the whole loaf? Come on. Let's face it, the end piece is never as good as the others, nor is it portioned to compensate for the fact that it's the end piece.Two stars because this has happened at least twice to myself and once to a coworker.

Absolutely love coming here! Whether a quick stop for my morning coffee, or a quaint place to work, or a cozy spot to meet with friends, and now for a delicious and inexpensive breakfast spot, I always leave Bread & Roses with a smile on my face. Great staff, they are very friendly, and always make me feel like a valued customer. Tried their new brunch menu for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was delicious! Pictured below - and in case anyone is wondering, my boyfriend's George Costanza shirt is from Winners.

Their macaroons are large and delicious. Covered in tempered chocolate . Not expensive but delicious. Unfortunately I have not tried much else as I have to buy the macaroons every time I visit.

My friend and I love having coffee in this place. Everything is delicious and the staff are attentive. I love macarons, coffee, matcha latte and quiche.
