Best ice cream flavours and milkshakes. Wonderful addition to the neighbourhood. Love how bright and welcoming the shop is, with great seating for the family. It’s a weekly go to for our family! Only con would be the new and extremely thin paper straws - they are awful and impossible to drink a milkshake with. They disintegrate and don’t work for milkshakes. I will have to bring my own in the future.

What a great hidden gem! It felt like we were in the Beaches area for a second. Can't believe I didn't know about this place until now, but glad we found it.
We were greeted by the very friendly and helpful staff, and knew it was going to be a good experience.
They had at least 4 vegan options for ice cream/sorbet, as well as many options for cones. I bought the lemon sorbet (water-based) with the coconut cone, and it was incredible. My partner had the vegan lemon bean (rice-based) and was equally as impressed. Thank you for being so inclusive!
The vibe and esthetic of the store was really nice, and I'll definitely be back again soon.

The people working at Brett's are always great, I used to come here every now and then and always enjoyed the fantastic service the employees provide. Additionally the store itself is delightful, with a lovely atmosphere and great options for seating both inside and outside. As for the food options, they have a lot of selection, with coffee, cookies, and other treats, as well as plenty of options for gluten free desserts. But their main thing is the ice cream - and unfortunately, they recently changed their supplier and I can't recommend it for the price it's at.
Their old supplier, Belly Ice cream in Huntsville, was fantastic with a great selection of really neat and delicious ice cream flavours and fantastic quality. However, their current supplier's ice cream is rather unpleasant; I tried the salted caramel, which was more like mostly flavourless vanilla ice cream with some caramel drizzles mixed in. It was also very thin and melted really quick in about five minutes, even though it wasn't hot out at all - their old ice cream used to at least last until I got home before it started to melt.
I can't speak for their cookies and fudges and drinks, as I didn't try them and the cookies at least are really well priced, so I can't justify giving a lower rating than 3/5. However, if you're looking for the kind of quality ice cream they used to have, you might be rather disappointed.
